The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Fores have reportedly liberated the village of Khirbat Madinat al-Far located southwest of the strategic ISIS-held town of Maskanah in the province of Aleppo.
According to pro-government sources, the Tiger Forces entered Khirbat Madinat al-Far and engaged ISIS terrorists in Jida Kabirah.
If reports are confirmed, this will mean that govenrment forces are aiming to cut off the N4 Highway south of Maskanah and to ecnircle the ISIS stronghold.
On the other hand, this move may push ISIS units to withdraw from the town before the SAA fully encircles them.
Yes, they could withdraw and move the force to East Hama or Palmyra area. If not the I would put tide blockade around Muskanah and continue South. After while without food and water and fresh reinforcement and rearmament they should capitulate
No you want ISIS to try to make a break out once encircled so they can be totally destroyed by air power.
There’s always the chance of Western backed / led forces supporting ISIS by funnelling arms and other supplies either by boat or aircraft. Its in their interest to slow or stop the SAA advance without getting their hands dirty.
Once this falls where does all the hundreds of ISIS terrorists flee to guess Raqqa! Which is a problem for SDF and then they try to block the ISIS terrorists and then they get accused of blocking SAA give me a break already. Then some accuse like Russia on letting ISIS have an escape route you can’t have the escape route being cut of then accuse them of blocking SAA that is not LOGICAL.
The water pumping plant would be a high priority , stop the jihadists from poisoning the water supply .
