The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) Tiger Force liberated the village of Al-Sukariya located 3 km north of the town of Maskana in the eastern Aleppo countryside after fierce clashes with ISIS militants.
From its side, ISIS claimed that its fighters manged to destroy an SAA tank with an ATGM in the village of Albuajoz south of the Jirah military airport.
Moreover, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq published photos of violent clashes in the vicinity of Fariaa village south of the Jirah military airport.
Amaq also published photos of Su-22 fighters of the Syrian Air Force and a Su-25 warplane of Russian Air Force that were providing a close air support to the SAA.
The SAA has so far managed to capture 500 square kilometers in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
The SAA will likely continue its advance after capturing Maskana town until it reaches the area controlled by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces near Tabqah town.
The SAA is also expected to launch a limited attack from the Al-Sha’er gas field towards the town of Athria in the northeastern Hama countryside aiming to secure the entire eastern Hama countryside and the strategic Shomriya mountains in the eastern Homs countryside, which witnessed very violent clashes between the SAA and ISIS during the past few days .
Why isn’t ISIS digging trenches? Those huge piles of rubble they use for cover only make them obvious targets for tanks and airstrikes.
Cause the trenches make it easy for the helicopters to mow em down.
You see that ALOT in iraq, where the iraqi air force has more helicopters at their disposal.
The videos showing 10-20-30+ dead isis guys in a nice long row is a good example.
Now they don’t dig trenches so much ^.^
What for? they have no intentions to defend what are not theirs..they are there as mercenaries, paid handsomely for US Imperialism and Israel Greater Area.
awesome! it would be even more awesome if SAA could destroy this Amaq news agency. they should find out their HQ or something and blow it to shit!
Is the media infrastructure even in ISIS territory, or partially in third countries? For understandable reasons, Russia is very wary of regional escalation, even if it means the bad guys keep their cross-border refuges.
No idea, but the issue should be researched
For starters, Nusra’s PR operation goes to the top of the food chain in London/NY/Washington–they even got an Oscar for chrissakes. The Virgin companies promote charity for the White Helmets (Branson is of course a personal friend of Obama). Nice to know they support Al-Qaeda when you board one of their planes.
Well yea I know that I meant if there are any amaq news buildings in Syria or Iraq or in the region, they should be taken out
Does one even want to mirror all of the US’ actions in the world. In Serbia, Afghanistan, and Libya, bombing the Other’s media was par for the course for the Empire. Israel regularly whacks Palestinian journalists in Gaza, though reporters from higher races may get off with the ole intimidation-deportation combo. Assange still has a bull’s-eye on him, even after “I changed my mind about the sex next morning so I was raped” Sweden called it a day.
Not going soft on ISIS, but amaq does a kind of reporting or they wouldn’t be cited here. May be a Geneva Convention issue.
Except all amaq does is glorify and support daesh actions through pictures of their forces fighting which only makes them keep fighting. These are not innocent little people they are working for, these are the worst scum of the earth.
I didn’t say “innocent” morally, I questioned if they’re a valid target legally. One side’s journalist is *always* the other’s propaganda. If Russia become just as nihilistic as the US, then they are equivalent evils except that the US still can print dollars–not where the Axis of Sanity wants to be.
Hmmmm, all that patience is paying off, now that there is a race to forestall the Washington barbarians as they try to replace their head-chopping, heart-eating rapers with other proxies and even a few American citizens. If the Washington barbarians are willing to risk “Home in a Bodybag III” then the domestic consequences of the US reign of terror will get harder to bear.
