Russian troops taken full control of Novoye Zaporozhye in the Zaporizhzhia sector. In Rodynske, Russian units restored control over part of the urban territory after the Ukrainian army made recent breakthrough attempts. Meanwhile, intensive negotiations are ongoing in Geneva between Ukrainian and US delegations on the Trump administration’s peace plan.
Zaporizhzhia Sector
Russian units of the «East» grouping continue their offensive operations in the central and southern sectors of the Zaporizhzhia region. They have made advances in the areas surrounding the settlements of Tikhoye and Otradnoye, establishing operational control. In the Gai area, units advanced in the Otradnoye sector after repelling counterattacks.
Following successes in the Radostnoye area, control of Novoye Zaporozhye has been established. The «grey zone» between the Gunchur and Yanchur rivers is shrinking. Intensive combat operations are ongoing in the southern sector near Huliaipole, particularly in the Zelenyi Hai and Chervonoe areas.
In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, control of the Otradnoye and Tikhoye settlements by Russian forces has been confirmed. Units are advancing between Otradnoye and Danilovka, where they have established control over several strongpoints of the third line of defense. Combat operations are ongoing in the Ostapovskoye and Andreyevka sectors.

There are ongoing battles for control of agricultural facilities in the Kolomiytsy area, located southwest of Tikhoye. Russian units are advancing from the Gai and Novoaleksandrovka sectors toward Dobropolye and Alexandrovka, where Ukrainian units have attempted counterattacks.
The advance toward Dobropillia and Varvarkovka continues. In the Huliaipole area, combat operations are taking place on the city’s outskirts: from Marfopol and the area of Bolshaya Street, and from Yablokovo in the farmland to the northeast. To the south, Russian units are attacking from the Dorozhnyanka sector.

In the Orikhiv sector, the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division is conducting offensive operations from Malaya Tokmachka toward the eastern outskirts of Orikhiv. The 1430th Regiment is operating in the southern part of Novodanilovka. Assault groups have advanced to the center of Novodanilovka, indicating that they have established control over strongpoints on the approaches to the settlement.
The operational situation in Malaya Tokmachka remains complex, with ongoing battles involving small groups. Several vehicles carrying troops have been spotted in Novodanilovka. On the western flank, Russian units of the 7th Air Assault Division have consolidated their positions in the 3rd microdistrict and are now advancing toward Stepnohirsk and Prymorske.
Konstantinovka Sector
Units of the «South» grouping continue their offensive operations against Konstantinovka from the southwestern, southern, and southeastern sectors. Advances were noted between Stepanovka and Yablonovka along Highway 32 towards the intersection with Highway 20.
To the south of Konstantinovka, mopping-up operations were conducted on the northern outskirts of Ivanopolye. Advances continue in the southern part of Konstantinovka.
Pokrovsk Sector
Operations to establish control over Pokrovsk’s urban territory are nearing completion. Russian forces’ control has been confirmed over most of the urban area. To the north, the operational ring has finally closed around the tree lines west of Rovnoye, where increased fire density has been established.

In Rodynske, Russian troops have regained control of part of the urban territory following their recent attempts to break through. Ukrainian troops were unable to maintain their positions in areas of the city they had seized in previous offensives. In Myrnohrad, Russian assault units are expanding their area of activity, and UAV operators are entering the city.
In the southern part of the operational area, mopping-up operations have been confirmed in Sukhoy Yar and the adjacent tree lines to the northwest. Received information suggests a high probability that remnants of the grouping will transition into the so-called «grey zone» amid decreasing defense organization.
Information has been received from the northern flank of the sector about the capture of Shakhovo by Russian forces. Clearing Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and satellite settlements by Russian forces will take time, as will the regrouping of their units and the establishment of logistical routes. This is particularly true given the significant number of units involved in solving operational tasks.
Some Ukrainian reserve units that were previously transferred to this sector have already been redirected to others, creating opportunities for the further development of the Russian offensive.
Sumy Sector
With the support of aviation and artillery, the «North» grouping’s Russian assault units are advancing deeper into the oblast. The Ukrainian army has attempted a counterattack.
Logistical route problems due to weather conditions have been reported. Russian assault groups advanced along tree lines on several axes, advancing up to 1,000 meters in total.
Two counterattacks by the 71st Separate Jäger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) were repelled in the Alekseyevka and Varachino areas. In the Tetkino and Glushkovo sectors, Russian artillery and FPV drone operators are targeting shelters in the Iskriskovshchina and Ryzhevka areas.
Kharkiv Sector
Operations in Vovchansk and the surrounding area in the Kharkiv sector continue. Russian units are advancing in six sectors within the city, advancing a total of 400 meters.
In the Sinelnikovo area, troops advanced southward, occupying two strongpoints and advancing 300 meters. There have been instances of servicemen from the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the AFU being captured.
In the Melovoye-Khatnye sector, Russian aviation and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators are striking positions in the Kolodeznoye and Gnilitsy areas.
Conclusion
The operational situation in the Zaporizhzhia sector is characterized by ongoing offensive actions by units of the «East» grouping. The capture and control of Tikhoye, Otradnoye, and Novoye Zaporozhye by Russian forces paves the way for operations in the vicinity of Huliaipole. Russian forces are creating conditions for establishing full control over the Pokrovsk agglomeration by completing clearance operations in the city itself and closing the operational encirclement to the west of Rovnoye. In the Sumy and Kharkiv sectors, Russian advances continue as Ukrainian counterattacks are repelled and unmanned aerial vehicles are used.
Meanwhile, discussions on diplomatic initiatives for a settlement are ongoing. Intensive negotiations are taking place in Geneva between Ukrainian and U.S. delegations regarding the Trump administration’s peace plan. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the previous discussions as potentially «the most productive to date» in this process. He said the American team is reviewing Ukrainian proposals and making changes to the initial draft to bring the parties closer together. One negotiator described the document as «living», emphasizing Washington’s willingness to consider feedback. Despite the progress made, Rubio reiterated that any plan requires the final approval of the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents, as well as the Russian government’s consent.
Alongside the U.S.-Ukrainian consultations, the European Union has presented its own version of a peace agreement in an attempt to influence the situation. The European plan suggests postponing the resolution of territorial issues until after a ceasefire and does not impose restrictions on the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This directly contradicts a corresponding point in the U.S. proposal. Meanwhile, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen outlined the EU’s fundamental principles, including the inadmissibility of changing borders by force and the necessity of the EU playing a central role in ensuring peace. Commenting on the American proposals, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that they «could form the basis» of a peaceful settlement but that a substantive discussion is not yet possible due to Kyiv’s lack of consent.
