Taliban fighters have ambushed two convoys of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in the provinces of Maidan Wardak and Helmand.

The first military convoy came under attack near the village of Deh Afghanan in the central province of Maidan Wardak on June 1.

During the ambush, Taliban fighters destroyed a Humvee armored vehicle and a M1117 armored security vehicle of the ANA. The fighters also seized some weapons and ammunition.

Three days later, Taliban fighters ambushed the second convoy near the town of Gereshk in the southern province of Helmand. A Humvee armored vehicle was destroyed. Taliban fighters also captured some ammunition, which were left behind by ANA soldiers.

The Taliban has stepped up its operations against Afghan government forces on different fronts since April 14, when President Joe Biden announced a strict plan to pull all US troops from the country by September 11.

The group is yet to accept a political settlement with the authorities in Kabul. The situation in Afghanistan may explode after the withdrawal of US troops.

Now that is the sort of damage they should be inflicting on the US convoys in Iraq and not just scratching the paint work .

If this is typical of American education I doubt if Americans can find their own way to the toilet .

Laura has suddenly found out that China is twelve hours ahead of America so asks ” Why didn’t China warn us about 9/11 as they are 12 hours ahead of us. Like 3 billion people died because China didn’t warn us so fuk China.”

An Amerikastani in the early days of the net when chat rooms were still a thing accused me of lying when I said my lunch break was over and I had to get back to work. “Ha ha, caught you lying, it’s the middle of the night!”

He must have been on the East coast and never figured out that after the rollover into the next year and went to bed the rest of America were still working on it. Never travelled into another time zone to realise something is not quite right here.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait till the Taliban are at the gates of Kabul and the so called government heads for the exits.

Now compare these results with the results of the PMU attacks on US convoys . Big difference right ? Wonder why ? Easy, its because its all theater in Iraq .
