Taliban Claims Its Members Killed 2 Foreign Troops In Afghanistan (Map Update)

The Taliban’s news agency Voice of Jihad claimed on January 2 that its supporter had opened fire at “invader troops on [the] main highway between Herat provincial capital and Islam Kala district.” According to the report, 2 foreign troops were killed and 7 others were injured in the attack. However no photos or videos were provided to confirm this claim. The Taliban often claims that its attacks result in casualties among foreign servicemembers. However, a notable part of these claims are just propaganda.
