Afghanistan on March 16 accused Pakistan’s military of targeting a Kabul hospital that treats drug users in air strikes, where 200 people were killed.
Health Ministry spokesman Sharafat Zaman gave the death toll during a television interview with Afghan state media, and said that sections of the hospital were destroyed.
Afghanistan’s government spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, condemned the strike, warning it was a violation of the territory of Afghanistan. In a post to X, he said that most of those killed in the strikes and wounded were patients undergoing treatment at the facility.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s spokesman, Mosharraf Zaidi, dismissed the allegations, calling them as baseless.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani Ministry of Information said in a statement that the strikes “precisely targeted military installations and terrorist support infrastructure including technical equipment storage and ammunition storage of Afghan Taliban” and Afghanistan-based Pakistani fighters in Kabul and Nangarhar, alleging these facilities were being used against innocent Pakistani civilians.
The strike was “precise and carefully undertaken to ensure no collateral damage is inflicted,” the ministry added, calling Mujahid’s claim “false and misleading.”
The alleged strikes came hours after Afghan officials reported that four people were killed in clashes across the border with Pakistan.
This is the third week of cross-border clashes between the two countries, and Islamabad had described the situation as “open war.”
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said Afghanistan’s Taliban administration crossed a “red line” by deploying drones that injured several civilians in Pakistan last week. In response, Pakistani strikes over the weekend struck equipment storage sites and “technical support infrastructure” in Afghanistan’s southern Kandahar province.
Despite sharing historic ties, Pakistan and the Taliban have fallen out since the United States withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2020.
Last year saw several rounds of deadly clashes along the 2,611km-long border, known as the Durand Line, which Afghanistan has not formally recognized, and Islamabad has repeatedly accused Kabul of backing the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, or the Pakistani Taliban.
Another factor that contributed to recent escalation was a rapprochement between Afghanistan and India, a long time rival of Pakistan.

man those pakistani are pathetic sidekicks of ussa. start a war in afghan to distract afghan from helping iran
i think you’re wrong.
– first: pak is against india.
– second: india is completely obedient to israel.
– third…: modi invited ship “dana” and then give israel it’s exact position when they was in international waters (an indian general admitted).
– … mossad ignite a war between afg and pak.
– india with none of its business took side with afg.
– mossad did false flag: school, hospitals a.s.o.
– because pakistan took side with iran.
– in afg us has left a “fifth colonne”.
so you think this is false flag attack….that cannot be ruled out, its possible
…because its the main weapon those weak zio imps have…
for all of dads and moms that love to stay home to take care of their loved ones, or rest of people on the search for an opportunity to pull in some extra income for their family month after month let me share a remarkable opportunity to explore.

pakistan is pro iran. taliban would have been used to launch ground attack onto iran.
but just watched a doc about druggies that live in afghanistan under the bridge. none of them will be missed. paki did the world a favour by cleaning house. but in all fairness the taliban attacked pakistan border posts first and now are getting their ass whipped.
pakistani people are pro iran, its government is pro israel as it gets funded by mossad.
every agression between believers in one god is wrong. those who do it anyway is either a atheist, a believer in multi gods, a satanist, or a slave of such.
so neither the afghan people deserve a war nor the pakistani. this is not a simp statement, it’s a strong statement as iran is fighting and living for.
muslim animals are killing each other now!
heheheh
unfortunately pakistan has been clearly paid off by the us to occupy the taliban and keep them from hiding iran in anyway
i meant to say “aiding” iran, not “hiding”. typographical error
never heard afghanistan helped iran, but heard pakistan thretened israel. nontheless: this is no time to attack each other while israel is an inviding object to revenge all the death and terror that it brought to them and the world. if anyone by its senses craves revenge: this is their time. oterwise the future will suffocating in agony.
why is unsc quite or does it only protec usa and israel atrocities of killing others.where is trump representaative and mediator putin who always mediate after usa israel killiing or over iran uranium under the rubble,
talibaan reserve the right to destroy western pupet pakistan.whom taliban help in 2000 to 2004 straategic usa/naaato invasion to take over nuclear bombs
you’re mossad agent. taliban should destroy israel the true devil.
pakistan like its zionist masters is pure evil. the afghans should support their pashtun and baluch brothers and sisters who are fighting punjabi swine. the afghans need to arm the resistance forces in so called pakistan.
india is bigger zionist tool than pakistan. i think pakistan is more ussa pawn piece. but also complex dynamics between pakistan taliban, afghan taliban, are brothers. pakistan military and isi also different interest from pakistan govt. so many players here
it’s like in almost every country: the satanist parasites control the goverments. it’s up to the people to change the course of their country and take down their government.
so, since the isreali apartheid regime and its sidekick in washingtub have repeated targeted hospitals, it is now de rigueur for attacks on a foreign country. perhaps a primary school is next for the pakistani admin to have a go at? the isreali apartheid regime has also favoured these as targets for a long time.
