The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) reached a deal with ISIS in order to free 7 US soldiers, who had been captured by the terrorists in the province of Deir Ezzor in September, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency reported on November 5 citing “local sources”.

According to the report, negotiations on the issue started on September 28th. ISIS pressed the YPG, which is also known under the US-created brand of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), to withdraw from some oil-rich areas in Azraq and to agree to allow medical supplies and food delivery to the ISIS-held area.

The YPG withdrew from some oil wells in Azraq and ISIS freed the US troops, but the medical supplies and food delivery has not yet been carried out, Anadolu Agency claimed.

It’s interesting to note that the report on another deal between the US-led coalition and ISIS appeared amid the renewed ISIS expansion in the Euphrates Valley, which became possible after the coalition and its proxies had in fact avoided contributing any efforts to eliminating ISIS there for multiple months.

U.S. Col. Sean Ryan, a spokesman for the U.S.-led international coalition, denied the report that ISIS had captured seven US troops. He went further claiming that the US-led coalition “is not involved in any deal with ISIS.” Probably, those large columns of ISIS fighters withdrawing from the towns of Manbij, al-Tabqah and Raqqah in 2016 and 2017 were just invisible for the coalition. Or maybe the US intelligence accidentally mistook armed masked men with black flags for democratic activists. This would explain why the CIA supplied al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda-linked groups operating within Syria with weapons. It just used the aforementioned indications to determine which groups want to build a secular democracy in the country.

In fact, the key problem with Col. Ryan’s statement is that it contradicts to the Pentagon’s earlier statements. For example, in October 2017 Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon officially confirmed that ISIS had been allowed to withdraw from Raqqah.

While both the US-led coalition and the Damascus government have struck tactical deals with ISIS in order to avoid further civilian casualties, the double-faced and dishonest attitude of the US leadership towards the conflict turned it into the main target of criticism. While Washington has appeared to be the main side exploiting various terrorist groups, including ISIS, in order to pursue its own diplomatic and military goals, the US leadership finds time for colorful phrases about democracy, civilian casualties and the war on terrorism.

Is the dog biting his master hand ?

Jens Holm

They have free speech and up to some level use it. USA dont have one master but elected ones, and those are elected by what they say and do.

As a minimum they have dogs biting as well as dogs protecting their many masters. Only one country partly can be compared to any of Yours. Turkey partly copied the French constitution in 1923, so Macron legally can have as much power as Erdogan, if he would and think he need.

Thats why another article here at this site are of at least less importance, then the many words say. ´

The difference is how You use that power. Erdogan systematicly removes all opposition even its not allowed according the Turkish Constitution by socalled decrets. No Turks know, there is a Constitution and its important parts. Its replaced by Kemal or not Kemal.

lokilasher

you are sadly mistaken on our “masters” being elected. Especially our President. The true masters are the corporate and banking institutions who flood millions of dollars to maintain power by special interest groups.

In fact President Trump lost the popular vote and won the election due to corrupt money-worshipping scum and anachronistic voting laws created back when the USA was new. Our recent voting for the House of Representatives and Senate has changed little and I am afraid that it will be another 100 years before the USA will be a country of thoughtful and peaceful people.

Money is truly the root of all evil and it grows deep within the grounds of our culture. Yet 100 million of us here in the States strongly disagree with the Government and its actions but are helpless due to the Supreme Court and their twisted rulings on voting laws.

We are a country filled with people from all around the world and have many different views. You cannot put us under master and dog. We are not a Democracy. We are a melting pot of many different cultures that has found a way to live in relative peace with each other and need to learn the same with the rest of the world.

As God wills it, shall it be done.

Jens Holm

Thanks for Your facts and reflexions. I partly agree with most of them. We danes are very well informed about USA and do compare with ours.

We fx dónt registrate us as voters, because all over 18 are. When the election comes we get a closed letter telling us where to vote and when. When come there we show good ID and then get the list for which, we can vote on in names and political party/group. We can vote on a single person there or just the list just as You have an elephandt and a donley.

We also see how mainly repuplican states manipulate and by that get seats in a not honests way. Thats almost impossible here, because we have en eqalizer system.

I only partly agree about money running too much and too wrong. USA is a capitalistic system making and keeping people poor or rich. But I also see You are 325 inhabitants and 52 states. Thats big. And I do see “The Sanders” at least went to be “Obamas” and Trump has not been able to kill that small improvement.

I see You as a democrasy, because You can change Your leaders and even important groups as police are elected.

The american ecomy is not an american, they are as us in the western one and they mnight some of us, but we own a lot of them too, because most things here are shareholders having profit and savings as private persons, as private pension and as public pension.

We in seconds from can buy their stuff as an investment and we do. So when companies fx in USA being multinational, we are owners too and do have A-stockings for decidings too.

We have for many years sold more to USA then we buy. And we can go the other way too. Our biggest company(I think) is Maersk Line, but how danosh is it. You see their light blue container all over the world as well as ships.

They are drilling for oil many places nad are administrators of several of the biggest harbours in the world. And how big ? Well at the operation desewrt storm, they transported more then half of all needed for phase 1.

I would like changes, but as long as You can replace leaders on all levels and tghars in the Constitution, they are Democrats – but having bad and strange mqanners in it too.

Not only Americans spend a lot of kind of infected money for elections. We try to keep the lobby part down too. Some seemes born as cheaters here too.

dawg

The electoral college in the US is just as important today as it was when the country was founded.

The USA is not a democracy, never has been and never claimed to be. It is a Constitutional Republic. It was precisely created NOT to be a democracy, but a republic instead.

You are woefully ignorant of the history of the US.

rudy

Probably a ruse to deliver them new US Commanders/ Instructors, Communication equipment and possible Chemicals and even Nuke’s !

Jens Holm

We see many others doing same thing.

Many have the big problem seing which in USA are important, and which is not. They are 325 mio.

Furthermore USA has an unike way of dividing. You have the polical part as one and a military one relative independant.

Jens Holm

Very good joke putting in withdrawls from Manbij, Tabqa and Raqqa.

Those from ISIS was defeated hard and 275 from Raqqa is no big force well helped by mainly SAAs.
