The Bazreh area in eastern Damascus has been fully liberated from militants.

On Monday, the last batch of militants and their supporters left the area and Barzeh was taken under full control by government forces.

With the liberation of Bazreh, government forces made a large step in a wider effort aimed at securing the Damascus countryside from various terrorist threats.

According to some pro-government sources, the area of Jobar controlled mostly by Hayat Tahir al-Sham (HTS) terrorists, excluded from the ceasefire agreement, could become the next target for the Syrian army.

Meanwhile, the Syrian military has deployed the 4th Armoured Division and its special forces known as al-Ghaith Forces in Daraa aiming to repel the ongoing advance of HTS and its allies and to reverse their gains in the city.
In early May, HTS seized about 40 buildings northeast of the Al-Manshiyya district that had been also captured by militants.

In the province of Aleppo, the Syrian Army Tiger Forces have regained the villages of Hamedaia, Mestariha, Maza, Wasteh, and the nearby areas and advanced on the ISIS-held town of Maskanah from northern and western directions.

Government forces also continued advancing in the Maskanah countryside aiming to link up with army units deployed near Khanasser.

On Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France would launch an immediate strike in response to any use of chemical weapons in Syria. The French president made this statement following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Macron also slammed the Russian state-run media outlets RT and Sputnik, labeling them as a “deceitful propaganda”. Earlier on Monday, Macron and his Russian counterpart met in the Palace of Versailles to discuss bilateral relations.

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have reached the border with Syria in the western part of the province of Nineveh.

A prominent Iranian general, commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Qassem Soleimani, was spotted among PMU units in the border area. This means that the PMU push to the border had likely been coordinated with Iran and Iranian-backed forces in Syria.

Much will depend upon on how the PMU reacts to the continued tensions between US-led forces and the Syrian military in the border area.

A spokesman of the PMU also announced that the group is ready to fight ISIS in Syria in coordination with the Damascus government.

It seems that Maskanah may fall with in 1 week. Great job by the Tiger Forces!
And the Iraqi PMU is liberating land that the KDP never bothered to deal with. The end of Daesh is near, and the joint Russian-Syrian-Iraqi-Irani alliance will be the ones who deliver the final blow.

Bill Wilson

Shit. This operation is a cakewalk for the Tiger Forces since Daesh had withdrawn most of their fighters before it started.
The SAA may deliver the final blow to ISIS due to it’s snail paced offensives.

Attrition47

Attrition tactics require patience and prove their worth by making the US head-chopping, heart-eating rapers collapse or destroy their counter-attacks. The Syrian army and its allies are inexorable but they have to beware the Washington barbarians and that Vichy arsehole.

Is 47 April 7 ur birthday? Just curious haha

The reason SAA is “slow” is because they need to preserve their Manpower. Throwing everything un thé meat grinder is only armchair general stuff. Also Isis are experts at laying traps, so charging in does not seem like a smart move. I dont know what your trying to say, but how you Said it seems like PSY Ops to me.

Stop twisting the facts against the reality on the Ground.

Its like resting your star quarterback if you made thé playoffs already, no point wearing yourself down for nothing.

I hope you understand what im trying to Tell you

I wouldn’t have it any other way its so beautiful

The most important thing to me is, that SDF are advancing south and east of Tabqa and their intensions there.

Its also important then FSA-SDF has taken another part of Raqqa northern district and now also there are only 4-5 km from the Raqqa Town center. Its also important, because they actually has changed side for that match in a positive spirit.

Bill Wilson

The SDF is moving south and east to cut off ISIS units fleeing from the west.

Terrorists training camps of US and NATO gangs will be removed from entire Syria as has been removed previously from Idlib when came under Russian and Syrian Airstrikes. Then US and NATO gangsters have relocated their bases from North Syria to South Syria but from here where they would run because one side is Iraq and other side is Syria.

98% world population are against USA and NATO gangs efforts in Syria and Iraq.

If USA and NATO gangsters attempt to attack SAA conveys as they have done before? This will be a direct confrontation with the Syrian, Iraqi, Russian, Iranian, Hezbollah and Palestinian Liwa Al-Quds heroes.

Every Syrian soldier and everyone of its allies must have firmly in their minds that all proxies and spies and their masters USA and NATO gangsters must be wounded, its blood spilled, its reputation stained, its mortality exposed to all the world. Russia shouldn’t accept any bared threats from US led gangsters.

Oh courageous Russia, fight on to live, fight on and destroy the evil; reclaim your culture, dignity and all your glorious, ancient sovereignty!

The World could care less about Syria and Iraq.

Maybe in your eyes!

Jaime Galarza

I think the world could care less about people like you.

not true, world civilisation itself is at stake and everybody but you knows it, what happens in syria will affect the rest of the world future.

Thegr8rambino

Yes, the conflict in Syria is much, much bigger than just syria

Unfortunately, Russia has declared that it will do nothing to any airstrike that Israel, USA or Turkey may do on Syria land, that is, its S-300 and S-400 will be used only in case of direct attack to Russia airbase in Syria. That was a very bad news. Russia is trying to avoid any direct confrontation with USA and Israel mainly.
