Following the previous advances in the area of Palmyra (here and here), Syrian government forces secured the area of the Mustadira gas field southeast of the ancient city and launched an attack against the ISIS terrorist group in the direction of the Arak gas field.
The operation is actively backed up by the Syrian Air Force’s warplanes and the Russian Aerospace Forces’ attack helicopters.
Separately, governent forces are developing an advance in the area of the Al-Talila crossroad, but now notable gains have been repoted there.
Syrian government forces are rapidlty expanding their zone of control around the ancient city of Palmyra recently liberated from the ISIS terrorist group. The Syrian military and its allies are likely aiming to get control over as much gas and oil field in the area as they can. This would allow to ease the energy crisis faced by the country.
Road 90. I still say, road 90 is more important. Without road 90 assad will lose the whole south syria. Until you are bubbling about lack of manpower, comes day D and bitish/american backed jihadists take the whole road. Like kurds east syria. and then you can ask yourself, for what was worth this war? And have want pay syria the debts for equipment without gas fields?
You meant Al-busari crossroads? They’re surrounded by mountains all of them taken by crowds of rugged defense. Let them keep that shit, for there’s no strategic resource at there. Palmyra it’s different.
the war was very worth kicking the asses of the globalizers who created ISIS in the hope of changing the shape of middle east governments to suit their domination plans. Also, it’s worth as an advice to countries like Turkey – if they believe they can start civil wars abroad in order to grab some land for themselves, they end up badly. I’m sure that Syrian debts can be postponed until better times, especially since the country who resisted against the aggression of islamism, globalism and zionism is Syria and for that they are heroes.
absolutely 100% agree
what was this war worth? are you kidding me? SAA is fighting for their country, thats what their entire purpose is, to defend their nation against invaders (daesh), what would you do if you were the commander in chief of armed forces? diddle dally around?
i do not understand, what want you say…
What?
simply i did not understand
What is your first language?
not important. i think, you did not understood my comment.
IF assad with huge russian help lose 75% of Syria, would better to divide from the beginning. And not waste lives. The russians did not help for syria. that is the truth. if syria will be divided, was not worth to fight against quatari pipeline. it was not worth to be friendly to russia. otherwise russia is NOT friend. they did not help for long years, they let prepay the !help! and betray syrians agfain and again.
that was i meant.
Dude I don’t understand you either that’s why I asked what is your main language so I can translate what I’m saying into your language
