On July 28, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) 4th Division, the Tiger Forces and former fighters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) liberated the villages of Jamlah, al-Awad, Abu Karaja and Nafiyah in the western Daraa countryside from the ISIS-affiliated Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, according to Syrian pro-government sources.

A day earlier, the SAA imposed its control of Saham al-Jawalan dam and the valley of Saysun following heavy clashes with fighters of the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the SAA killed more than 233 fighters of the ISIS-affiliated group over the last 10 days. However, a source in the 4th Division believe that more of 600 terrorists have been killed since the beginning of the battle.
Currently, warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) and the Russian Aerospace Forces are bombing the last positions of the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army in the towns and villages of Abidin, Kuwayyah, Ma’arriyah, al-Qusayr and al-Shajarah. These positions are expected to collapse in the upcoming days, if not hours.
