The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Iraqi Army with their allies are simultaneously advancing on the ISIS border strongholds of al-Bukamal and al-Qaim.
On October 26, the Iraqi military announced a start of the large-scale advance on al-Qaim. Iraqi troops already engaged ISIS terrorists in the outskirts of Rawah and captured the H2 Air Base south of al-Qaim. On the same day, the SAA retook the T2 Pumping Station area from ISIS south of al-Bukamal in a final push after a few days of clashes.
In the coming days, Iraqi and Syrian forces will likely further isolate ISIS units and reach the ISIS-held cities in the border area. Pro-government sources expect that the joint effort may lead to a relatively fast progress against the terrorist group in the area.
The control over Baghdad-Deir Ezzor highway will also allow to establish a stable supply line between Syrian and Iraq.
I really apreciate thos efforts
The last news there was from Hasaka was that the Kurdish thieves of the PKK raided the Syrian national bank there and looted all the people’s savings from it. As of today the bank seems to still be under these Kurdish thieves and they intend to hand it over to the US corporate Mafia to be ‘privatized’ in order to manage their illegal trafficing of the Syrian people’s oil and gas resources.
Very good development. Also the reports that SAA finally has liberated T2 with help of Hezbollah
Fuck off
I think its a machine comming through all defence systems.
yeah guess so, bro
What does she wants from you.
its a bot that wants to sell me some shit
Hezbollah was the true break through against the US/Zionist colonialost, imperialist war of aggression, invasion and occupation of Syria. They have a small contingent in Syria, but they bite. Congrats also to the Palestinian fighters who never forgot that Syria is the only country together with Iran who keeps supporting and fighting for their cause of liberation from Zionist occupation and repression. May God bless them all.
agree shake ?
Very good and true comment. God bless our heroes of Hezb and the Palastinian Liwa-al-Quds fighter.
Secular Palestinians in Syria didn’t forget about Syrian support – but the fundamentalist Sunni Hamas Palestinians certainly did – they formally switched their allegiance to Qatar, both relocating their headquarters from Damascus to Doha in 2012 and formally announcing their full support for the, Muslim Brotherhood based, armed opposition to the Syrian state leadership.
Israel is really fearful of Hez
One thing I never remember to ask in the comments: does the SAA really control Hasakah and Nusaybin? What’s going on around there?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Hasakah
We were already here 3 times before. When the Syrian government forces were just 40km away from Raqqa, when they were just 12km away from Jafra oil fields, and when they were just 10km away from Omar oil and gas fields. With Russia turning its back on Syria I don’t take anything foregranted anymore. Thanks God Hezbollah is there and God is with them. May God bless them.
How many times ?.
The oil fields are f…uc…ed – from years of sanctions + when ISIS left in September (I think), they badly damaged them if not destroyed them.
The Syrians have to take out the whole West bank and then clear up the rest of the scum. Syrian and Hezbollah units are just eliminating the remaining ISIS scum, consolidating and then – the real war begins.
You say the same old baloney one every comment.
Thumbs up for you. This is the area we’re Russia always back track and back stabb Syria and allies.Obviously Russia has oil deals with Kurds and that is why USA push Kurds in the front line against Russia.Point Russia will never attack Kurds.
Russia made deconfliction agreements to not bomb/attack. ..US,FSA,Kurd/YPG or Israeli forces.
In 2015….it was enthusiasm that Syria and Iran could roll up the Foreign invaders.
In 2017,….the Invaders got sweet deal of deconfliction agreement.
Who says. ….Crime does not pay
Good analyst.
there is no god. what you dont do for yourself, the god will not.
“The control over Baghdad-Deir Ezzor highway will also allow to establish a stable supply line between Syrian and Iraq” and Iran as well.
From this map it appears that the Syrian government does not control its 1/5 portion of the Golan anymore, which now seems to be solely under the Zionist HTS al-Qaida terrorists and ISIS control. Can Southern Front explain please how this could happen with Russian troops stationed there and why we were not informed?
Does anyone know if the SAA liberation of T2 pumping station included the liberation of the T2 airbase nearby?
SAA and Hezb pushed towards the T2 airbase too. So it should be liberated.
It seems that it is.
At the same time, SDF has reached the Iraqi border.
Does not matter. The iraqi and syrian kurds have now their own islands. (surrounded at all border lines by lovely guys).
It does matter if the SDF crosses the Euphrates and takes Bukamal, thus dissecting the Baghdad-Deir Ezzor highway. Which would please the US mightily. And whatever the US wants, the SDF does, as obedient little serfs. And ISIS is not putting much up of a fight against the SDF. Methinks letting the SDF do this pleases ISIS just as much as letting the SDF take all those oil fields. Some say that’s because of what ISIS’ American overlords want, some say its because ISIS is crazy, therefore shits and giggles, or what I suspect, its because ISIS wants to foster and exploit the enmity between Damascus and the Kurds, as that suits its purpose currently most. Just like the fighting between the Iraqi government and the KRG creates chaos in Iraq that is beneficial to ISIS as well.
The SDF has been at the Iraqi border for years already. That’s an easy claim to make.

Jeez… the Iraqis are nearly at Al Qaim already!!!
Seems to be an ongoing battle today between KRG and Iraqi forces trying to take the Fish-Khabur border crossing.
Yesterday, it looked like both sides were trying to negotiate – now not so sure.
yesterday the distanca was only 65 km …
God bless SAA!
and Solomon Krupacek
Would guess the PMU’s will attack Al Bukamal from the east and south , with SAA attacking from the west and north . Don’t imagine they will give this one up easily .
