The Syrian Arab Army’s special force, “Tiger Forces” captured the Air Force Academy facility and the surrounding area in heavy clashes against ISIS in East Aleppo. This operation is a part of ongoing offensive of the pro-government forces inside the Deir Hafer Plains
The SAA special units are supported by the National Defense Forces (NDF), Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions), Hezbollah, and Harakat Al-Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary) in this sector.
According to the field reports, over 20 ISIS militants are killed, and 3 armored vehicles mounted with 23mm anti-aircraft machine guns are captured.
Pro-government media oultets argue that now the ISIS militants are retreating from the eastern countryside of Aleppo. It’s an embellishment.
The SAA and its allies are advancing on the villages of Humaymah Al-Kabeera and Tal Al-Ahmar in the area near the Kuweires Military Airport. A large ISIS force is defending these villages.
If Turkey were smart, they would abandon NATO and Saudi Arabia, and instead sign full alliances with Iran – Lebanon – Syria – Russia – Greece. Greece should also leave NATO.
