Syrian Forces Liberated Al-Bashoura Air Defense Base In Eastern Ghouta From Militants (Map)

Syrian government forces have liberated the Al-Bashoura Air Defense Base in the Eastern Ghouta region from Jaish al-Islam militants, according to pro-government sources.

On February 28, units of the Tiger Forces and their allies entered the area of the base and forced Jaish al-Islam members to withdraw from it. Militants conducted a counter-attack overnight, but failed to achieve any progress. On March 1, government troops started securing the  area.

Following a success in the area, the Tiger Forces and other pro-government factions are now able to develop momentum in two directions:

  • the 274th Regiment Base and Shifuniyah
  • Hawsh Khanim

While Syria and its Allies try to free the civilians in Ghouta with an escape route, the zionist terrorists fire at them, and the terrorists wearing suits and ties in the UN condemn them for their efforts, and at the same time the coalition of terror murder civilians with air strikes in Deir Ezzor as if it was fun.Syria and its Allies need to put massive air defences in place so as to create what would in effect be a no fly zone over ALL Syrian territory in order to protect its defenceless civilians from these zionist ,illegal attacks.
