Following a series of setbacks under the pressure of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in northern Hama, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) achieved their first sucess south of Mushrifa.
According to pro-government sources, the SAA and the NDF retook the hill of Um Khazim and entered in Um Turaikiya where intense fighting erupted.
Um Khazim, Um Turaikiya, Balil and some nearby points were lost to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies earlier this week. The Syrian military even said that militants had used chemical weapons in the area.
Jaish al-Izza, one of the allied militant groups of HTS, released a video showing yesterday’s clashes:
Slowly you can tell the SAA has been rebuilding its forces since its ‘vanguard’ forces are mainly in Deir Ezzor yet they are slowly entering jihadi paradise
So, even their use of chemical weapons against SAA did not save them and SAA managed to retake the position it lost due to use of CW by Al-Qaida.
As soon as IS is wiped out DeZ the brave SAA, NDF and allies can go on ratsafari in Idlibistan and take back what is stolen by the wahabi savages
So to recap this report HTS beat the shit out of SAA, learned from them how to effect chemical attacks and the only thing SAA has to show for this is the recapture of a hill??
All this without mentioning HTS and others report SAA losing more than 6 tanks, having seized at least one or two SAA tanks ??
