The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) captured a major part of Al-Sinaa district from ISIS terrorists in the eastern part of Raqqa city.

During its advance, SDF discovered an ISIS VBIED workshop in the district.

According to Kurdish sources, the SDF began storming the Old Raqqa area west of Al-Sinaa and Al-Bareed districts. However, the SDF has not yet captured any positions from ISIS.

The SDF also began an advance in the southwestern Raqqah countryside where it captured Al-Sahl village, about 7 km away from Raqqa and managed to capture an ISIS VBIED inside it.

It seems that SDF has begun working to encircle ISIS fighters in Raqqa from the south after the Syrian Arab Army (approached the Hama-Raqqa road.

According to local sources, on Wednesday, ISIS fighters executed many prisoners in Raqqa city out of fear that they could be freed by SDF.

Some reports claimed that Syrian and Russian Air Force warplanes targeted a convoy of ISIS fighters during its withdrawal from Raqqa city for the second time.

On June 13, ISIS armed drones killed some SDF fighters in two separate attacks at Khas Da’koul and Matab Bourshad east of Raqqa.

According to the United Nations, airstrikes of the US-led coalition led to the killing and wounding of a large number of civilians, in addition to the displacement of more than 150 thousand people.

Opposition sources claimed that 1414 civilians have been killed since the operation “Euphrates Fury” was launched by the US-led coalition and the SDF.

The SDF hardly faces ISIS attacks like the Syrian army does. But, even so, congrats to the SDF in liberating parts of Raqqa.

John Brown

Its not a liberation is a redeployment as ISIS and the SDF are now allies and vassals of Israel. They need to have skirmishes to make it appear they are enemies

SAA doing great work sdf and Isis have done little, both US proxies are allowing Isis leave threw southern alRaqqa air force and Republican guard be there to greet u soon u rats

goingbrokes

SDF firing at a building, some soldiers not even taking cover, an abandoned workshop – yes, the war really is happening somewhere else. This is further proof of takeover.

The Syrian Gov should do what the US-Israel Axis did, and fund and arm the ISIS so that they can kill SDF. Then when they are wiped out, Assad should tell Erdogan to ask Qatar to call off the attack dogs, and get the Russians to negotiate safe-zones/deescalation zones and get the ISIS out, and the SAA in. This way, SAA don’t have to put themselves at risk.
