On Sunday, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) recaptured the command section and the section 446 of the Armored Vehicle Base in the Eastern Ghouta region near the city of Damascus, according to pro-government sources.

During the clashes around the Armored Vehicle Base, the SAA was able to corner a unit of Ahrar al-Sham inside a booby-trapped building, and detonated it killing the enitre unit, according to pro-government sources.

The Ahrar al-Sham Movement didn’t release any news regarding its attack on the Armored Vehicle Base in the last 24 hours. Syrian warplanes conducted very few airstrikes around the base on Sunday. Due to this it’s safe to assume that the reports about the SAA advance inside the base are accurate.

Pro-government activists claimed that the SAA is planning to develop its counter attack and to advance around the base. However, the SAA will likely avoid opening a new front, as it is already conducting two major military operations in the provinces of Hama and Deir Ezzor.

Man Dagang

Rebels won the battle considered being sieged over 6 years with all kind of bombardments & replied with smart tunnel bombs..can see clearly the coward face of SAA

Alex

For those rebels whom you describe having “won the battle”, they can now retreat, if still alive, back to their patrons in Israel.

It appears from your posts Man Dangang that you are the latest Zio Troll to post here.

Your remarks about Saudi forces defeating Hezbollah are laughable and betray the reality that the Saudi Forces are rather inept. And that’s putting it mildly :)

Regularly beaten by young boys in sandals.

FlorianGeyer

It certainly makes a change, as the worlds Zionist self styled elite usually sexually assault ‘young men in sandals’.

You should go there and tell them that they have won, because they surely haven’t noticed. No victory celebration at all.

Ronald

These guys are shelling the city , they need to be cleaned out . They are not rebels , but rather just agents of destruction .

What would be interesting to know is whether the AAS, a pet organisation of Erdogan, is stil being funded and armed by Erdogan. Turkey and Russia are nominal allies in Syria and indirect enemies in proxy fighting? Given the reconciliation between HTS and AAS, does this also mean if AAS is supplied by Turkey, the same goes for HTS?

What a bizar “war” in Syria.
