Syrian Army Splits Western Ghouta Pocket into Two Parts

On October 28, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) conducted a successful military operation in the Western Ghouta region and splited the militant-controlled area into two separate parts.

As result of this ooperation the government forces encircled the strategic town of Khan al-Shih controlled by Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (al-Qaeda) and its allies. This town will likely become the main target of the ongoing military operation by government forces.

Then, the army and the NDF will turn into the direction of Zakiyah.

Future seems to be bright for Western Ghouta, about to finally be free from terrorists once and for all.. couldn’t say the same about eastern Ghouta any time soon unfortunately

well, if it continues to go this well, West Ghouta should be free in a few weeks, maximum. this means all these troops tied there will with a bit of luck be sent to East Ghouta.
