The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has repelled several ISIS attempts to infiltrate in the Tal Brok area and destroyed a vehicle and killed a number of ISIS militants during the clashes in the Al-Makabir area.
The SAA artillery also targeted the vicinity of the airport, the gas field and the cemetery area west of the Al-Sonof hill, killing of 6 ISIS militants and destroying several vehicles.
ISIS organization attacked the SAA at the Joura bridge checkpoint with several VBIED but government fores destroyed the car bombs before they were able to reach the target. ISIS also continued shelling with mortars Al-Joura district of Deir Ezzor city.
Meanwhile, Syrian Air Force warplanes bombed ISIS positions in the vicinity of Deir Ezzour airport, the Al-Makabir area, and near the village of Husseiniya.
The ISIS-held area in Deir Ezzor is in poor humanitarian conditions due to the escalation of US airstrikes.
ISIS forced civilians to pay taxes to work in their own lands. In addition, ISIS has completely banned Internet and satellite television, and according to local sources, there is a limited prevalence of poliomyelitis.
“ISIS forced civilians to pay taxes to work in their own lands.” – I’m not defending DAESH or anything like that, but, taxing civilians for working on their own lands, that’s what governments do…
Yes indeed, but that ‘government’ won’t be there for much longer and will end up underground.
Most governments ensure the safety of their people. ISIS with their stubborn resistance are contributing to tens of thousands of more deaths and destroyed infrastructure until the war will end.
They will spend that money on drugs, explosives and guns :D
USA with its stubborness is escalating the world into nuclear armed confrontation… like I said, I do not defend DAESH, however they should be criticized for being the rapists child killers they are, you don’t need to throw random accusations on them.
ISUS launched their largest attack of the year on Deir Ezzor several days ago.
This is why SAA needs to move east from Palmyra and forget about Al Tanf.
The brave fighters and 100k civs are waiting to be relieved.
DAESH trash no longer have a good counter attack ability to screw with their flanks.
You are right. Syrian government should have to leave Al-Tanf base for time being and move towards DeirEzzor city and remove the siege, then SAA should have to liberate the entire Deir Ezzor province. Deir Ezzor is a very important province due to its Petrochemical and natural gas fields. There are many Syrians that have never seen their parents when war start.
Al-Tanf belongs to Syria, US has nothing to say there! SAA should have to arrest these all US and NATO gangsters.
They are mafia.
