The Syrian army’s Tiger Forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF), supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, have liberated another village near the ISIS stronghold of al-Bab in northern Syria.

The village of Suran was retaken from terrorists by government forces on January 22. Earlier this week, the army and the NDF liberated from ISIS the villages of Sirdah, Shuraymah, Rasem Askar, Masudiyah, Atshanah, Umm Miyal, Judaydah and Shamer.

On January 21, reports also appeared that Moscow, Damascus and Ankara had made a deal to unite efforts in combating terrorists in al-Bab and due to this the Syrian army was set to intensify its ground operations in the area.
