Syrian Army Gives Jihadists 24 Hours to Surrender before Launching Massive Offensive in Aleppo

AlMasdarNews reports: The Syrian Arab Army has given the jihadist rebels 24 hours to surrender themselves to the nearest government checkpoint.

Using a loud speaker, a Syrian Arab Army officer demanded that the jihadist rebels surrender in the next 24 hours or else they will face severe consequences.

What are these consequences? The Syrian Army officer stated over the loud speaker that their forces will launch a massive military operation following the 24 hour deadline.

The Syrian Armed Forces have already recaptured several sites inside the western part of the city; however, they have mostly halted operations in the eastern districts of Aleppo.

Furthermore, Hezbollah is preparing a large operation in the southern countryside of Aleppo that will target the key town of Khan Touman.

Most military personnel assume that the jihadist rebels will not surrender, so the Syrian Arab Army is currently on high alert during these next 24 hours.

There have been many opportunities for at least a semi peaceful resolution
in Aleppo. All have been refused. So let this be the last chance.
After 24 hours bring this to an end.
