The Syrian Army and its allies have have captured a major part of the al-Haid gas fields near Palmyra and now are attempting to push ISIS from the rest of the area.
Meanwhile, reports appeared about reinforcements, including a notable number of artillery pieces and multiple rocket launcher systems, received by government forces operating in the area of Palmyra. According to local sources, the striking force is now concentrated near the Arak gas field.
If confirmed, this will mean that the army and its allies are going to launch a major push towards the ISIS-held town of Sukhna soon.
Come on SAA and allies, blast ISIS out of Sukhana and proceed east towards Deir Ezzor.
Meanwhile SAA and allies are advancing in Suweida CS against the rebels from Al Tanf . A lot of positions liberated
Breaking the ceasefire? I don’t think so.
I dont know whether Al Tanf rebels are part of the ceasefire . Quneitra and Daraa rebels are
Al Tanf isnt!
:DDD
This makes how many times now that the major push towards Sukhnah has been announced?
I was just going to say. If now they are preparing for it, then the past month was–the preparation for the preparation?
Maybe they were testing out enemy defenses in order to see their strenghts and weakness
and analysed in PC with windows 3.1 :DDD
Similar to sun tzu strategy :))
Well they possibly found out how many ISIS there were guarding the gas fields , economic punishment is an American # one policy .
And Russia seems to have brought in some helicopters , so maybe DZ is not lost yet . The Iraqi’s air force did some work for SAA , so maybe the PMU’s are about to be cut loose .
Hang in there Deir Ezzor .
Syrian Army, Allies Prepare For Major Push Against ISIS Along Palmyra-Deir Ezzor Road
already the third month.
the saa, putin lost all trust
losers!
You sound like a broken record, consider the map, of almost 3 months ago, your credibility is a big zero.

did not check, has no sense. the saa is still sitting in arak
SDF is rather rapidly advancing eastward over the M4 on the south bank of the Euphrates. More then 40 kms closer to DeZ then the closests positions of SAA. Towards the north, SDF only 40 kms from DeZ.
Will they go for DeZ? Somehow, I doubt it.
the saa is unpredictable. and this is big problem. does not do logical steps.
Well you seem to be making a lot of predictions and now change your tune to “saa are unpredictable” so maybe its YOU who hasnt got a clue and are the one with all the shit ideas???
Unfortunately, the American proxies may well go for DeZ: it’s now the biggest prize.
Tigers need to push south from Raqqa and secure the right bank of the Euphrates – quickly.
Don’t be hasty young hobbit!
Remember in Vietnam, the Americans and the S-Vietnamese won the Tet Offensive, but “Johnson’s escalation cost 30,000 American lives…” and they still lost and had to go home with nothing to show for it. Have you noticed – what SAA takes SAA keeps!
.
history.
Certainly seems you like to bitch and wine a lot !
Do you also do this at home and work ?
Kid, you wanna go wage a war? enjoy. Shut your big mouth whilst you are sitting comfortably behind your little screen.
YOU shut your dirthy mouth, moron!
I think this is a bit of misinformation designed to fool ISIS. I think the SAA will advance up from their present “bulge” in Eastern Syria, North of al-Tanf. Al Sukhna and the road is heavily defended. Progress would be slow.
If the SAA moves up in the East, they will catch ISIS off guard. And then when ISIS tries to relocate it’s defenders over to that area, out in that open desert, they will be sitting ducks for Russian and SAA ground attack aircraft.
So far the saa has surprised us all at their bold and decisive maneuvering, they have wrong footed all the forces ranged against them on all fronts and from a position of what was seen as iminent failure and defeat has bounced back from strength to strength. The russians have obviously layed a massive part in this, they have supplied arms and military infrastructure etc and given Syria a voice at the ‘big boys’ table,i for one can not see the Saa or the Russians now deciding that enough is enough, they will go all out for as much as is possible in Syria and no way will Deir azor be viewed as a bridge to far.
