On January 11, the Syrian Arab Army and the Special Mission Force (SMF) captured several positions around the Syrian Police branch in the eastern part of Harasta district east of the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria.

Moreover, the Syrian pro-government news outlet Damascus Now reported that the SAA had captured seven farms and several positions north of Duma district, located also east of Damascus. The new SAA attack north of Duma is likely a response to Jaysh al-Islam’s attack on a position of the SAA in the southern part of the Eastern Ghouta region on January 10.

Syrian opposition sources reported that Syrian warplanes conducted over 50 airstrikes on positions of the Ahrar al-Sham Movement, Faylaq al-Rahman and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in the districts of Harasta, Irbin and Madira.

From its side, the militant groups shelled the government-held districts in the center and eastern part of Damascus city with dozens of mortars, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The pro-opposition media outlet also revealed that at least five civilians were killed in Damascus by the militants’ shelling on January 10.

During the last 48, the Ahrar al-Sham Movement’s attack on the Armored Vehicles Base south of Harasta district slowed down after a series of counter-operations conducted by the SAA, according to Syrian pro-government activists.

The fact that they shell any part of Damascus for no reason shows they are mad , this has cost too many innocent lives , they must be killed or captured .

The SAA and SMF police (CT) had to respond to these so called “moderate” “rebels” because of their willingness to act as what they are by attacking civilians to prevent further terror attacks by these by the real definition Islamist extremist Terrorists.Good job SAA and SMF police(CT) in making these slow their terrorist activities.Let’s hope these terrorists learn they are not rebels and opposition just because the west calls them so because only terrorists target civilians.

The arrogance of the west trying to claim these are moderate opposition is one of the most bald faced lies perpetrated on the public, who else in their right minds would call Islamist extremists who target civilians indiscriminately moderates and opposition needs their head examined. They are there to exterminate the local population as they show themselves only interested in doing and disrupt the government and not become it as their desire is not about democracy or secularism but being Islamist extremists with no room for secularism and those who disagree.

They are all colonists brought by NATO lies and aggression in the region because their hold in the region had been destroyed, by the killing of a compliant leaders whom the west preferred to look in the media to be non compliant, so they could continue their aggression in the region.

There are always plans by the west as they are thought up by these academic policy institutes who remain out of touch with people and don’t understand why these policies fail. Their public claims of being experts in fields even though they have little or next to no knowledge of their alleged area of expertise. Has been leaving the world more screwed up than it was prior to the cold war. Hopefully more people wake up and see how bad these institutes have been in trying to rule our lives. They were the ones that brought us these current regime change initiatives, and trying to make us believe terrorists are moderates.
