Syrian Air Force Strikes Targets Near Jaber Border Crossing At Syrian-Jordanian Border

A source in the Jordanian Army announced that on July 1 a warplane belonging to the Syrian Arab Air Force bombarded the Jordanian Jaber Border Crossing with two rockets during the assaults on nearby Free Syrian Army (FSA) positions. Official sources confirmed that 3 airstrikes struck Jordanian territory without announcing any losses as a result of those strikes.

On Sunday, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies bombarded the Khalkhala air base in the northern part of Suweida Province with dozens of Grad rockets, as claimed by opposition sources. HTS fighters destroyed a tank and a 57-mm gun of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) at the air base.

Moreover, the FSA claimed that its artillery targeted SAA reinforcements in the vicinity of Khirbet Ghazala north of Daraa.

In Daraa City, HTS claimed that it managed to destroy an armored bulldozer of the SAA. The city has been quiet for the last few days as the two sides exchanged the bodies of their fighters who were killed during previous clashes, but the situation escalated again on July 2.

See the nonsense of war… You fight and then take a break to exchange bodies ..wtf???

Ronald

Starting a war is considered a crime against humanity .
The reason America is despised by all .

FlorianGeyer

And the two halves of American voters also despise each other :)

MeMadMax

Not halves, quarters.

The vast majority of americans are “not affiliated” with any political branch.
This is why there will be no civil war.

MikeH

This is incorrect. Civil wars are not started by the fence sitting moderates. Their opinions on the matter are irrelevant, always.

MeMadMax

I guess you cant read…

Justin Ryan

yeah, its crazy!

You probably know about the Germans and British exchanging gifts and playing football in the no-mans land between the Trenches in WW1.

That was for some hours on Christmas, I mean in 1916.

War normally is nonsense, I agree. But what you want to do, when the aggression starts from the other side? To exchange bodies is a light moment within the atrocities of war. Every fallen soldier has the right to get a funeral by his comrades and/or to hand over to his family.

Good :))
