Syria: Milintants Offensive in Southern Aleppo Fails as Army Recaptures Al-Khalidiyah

On Saturday in the southern Aleppo countryside, the extremist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Jund Al-Aqsa (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Ajnad Al-Sham, Faylaq Al-Sham, and the Free Syrian Army’s “Division 16” launched a new offensive to capture the strategic town of Khan Touman.

The extremist rebels began their Khan Touman offensive by capturing the imperative village of Al-Khalidiyah after a violent battle with the pro-government forces.
