Syria's Army Recieves Russian Battlefield Surveillance Radars

Fara-1

The Syrian Arab Army has reportedly recieved a banch of new-generation man-portable battlefield surveillance radars for company level, called “Fara-1”. The report came from Russian media outlets which cite each others.

The FARA-1 detects moving targets (personnel and vehicles) against background of earth and water surfaces at a distance of 4 km. The FARA-1 is lightweight, not bulky, and can be carried by one man (in general, its crew includes 2 persons). It is multifunctional, and can be used as a radar sight for automatic weapons, or as a reconnaissance tool.

There are no video or photo evidences of this from the Syrian batttlefireld.

This is great news. However, the biggest threat to Syria in the world is Tel Aviv. How about supplying updated S-300 systems to Syria, or selling them their own S-400 systems to Syria. This are only defensive weapons anyway. As Israel has bombed Syria thousands of times in the last 50 years.
And Sell Iran the S-400 system as well please. Iran is the only ones holding Saudi Arabia in check right now. http://english.almanar.com.lb/main.php
