On September 6, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Eight of the videos show attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, Lancet loitering munitions and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions in the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Another video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones on ammunition depots of Kiev forces near the settlement of Khoruzhevka in the Sumy direction.
Three other videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped FAB-250, FAB-500 and FAB-1500 guided glide bombs that targeted gatherings of Kiev forces near the settlements of Kalinovskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk direction and close to the settlement of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “ammunition and materiel depots, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas” over the last 24 hours.
Russian air defenses shot down five guided aerial bombs and 160 fixed-wing drones during the same period, the ministry added, noting that the Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet also destroyed one high-speed drone boat.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 666 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 82,040 drones, 627 air defense systems, 24,973 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,589 multiple rocket launchers, 29,289 artillery pieces, and 41,170 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
