On September 4, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, Lancet loitering munitions and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions in the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, two of the strikes destroyed a German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-proppelled howitzer and an American-made AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder radar. Another strike neutralized a boat carrying a Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group in the Dnepr Island.
Separately, the Russian Ministry of Defense shared footage of a strike on a Ukrainian drone unit in the Chernigov direction. The unit was targeted with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile. Kiev earlier falsely claimed that the unit was just “a civilian humanitarian demining mission.”
Two other videos that surfaced online showed a recent Russian airstrike with multiple UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Sosnovka in the Dnipropetrovsk direction and another airstrike with a LMUR guided missile that hit a bridge used by Kiev forces near the settlement of Volchansk in the Kharkiv direction.
In addition, the Russian MoD announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “transport infrastructure used for the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, command post and assembly workshops for UAVs (Unmanned aerial vehicles), artillery and missile depots as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries in 155 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry added that during the same period Russian air defenses shot down four guided aerial bombs and 299 fixed-wing drones over the special military operation zone.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 666 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 81,599 drones, 627 air defense systems, 24,947 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,589 multiple rocket launchers, 29,229 artillery pieces, and 41,021 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
