On July 9, several videos documenting recent combat operations by the Russian military in the special military operation zone were posted to social networks.
Nine of the videos show drone attacks that targeted Kiev forces and their equipment in Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy and several other directions in the last few days. Among the targets hit were dozens of attack and reconnaissance drones.
Two more videos show recent strikes by TOS heavy thermobaric multiple rocket launchers on Ukrainian fortifications in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk and other directions.
Pinpoint strikes by attack helicopters on two buildings held by Kiev forces in the direction of Kherson are shown in two other videos. Both strikes were carried out using LMUR non-line of sight guided missiles, more known as the Izdeliye 305.
The last three videos show strikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on Ukrainian troops and equipment, including an air defense system, in Donetsk and the Zaporizhzhya direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “ammunition depots, AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] and foreign mercenaries’ temporary deployment sites” in 135 areas in the last 24 hours.
The ministry added that nine guided aerial bombs, four HIMARS projectiles, and 226 fixed-wing drones were intercepted by Russian air defenses during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 68,477 drones, 614 air defense systems, 24,167 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,576 multiple rocket launchers, 27,176 artillery pieces, and 37,891 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
