On August 28, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online
Ten of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions in the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Four other videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted fortifications of Kiev forces in the settlement of Sosnovka in the Dnipropetrovsk direction, as well as near the settlements of Novoselivka, Kostyantynivka, and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “ammunition and unmanned aerial vehicles depots, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries” in 153 areas over the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defenses shot down a Su-27 fighter jet of the Ukrainian Air Force, two guided aerial bombs, two American-made HIMARS projectiles, and 192 fixed-wing drones.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 666 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 80,018 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,831 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,588 multiple rocket launchers, 29,005 artillery pieces, and 40,547 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
