On August 14, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online
18 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, loitering munitions, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Another video shows a salvo of thermobaric rockets fired from a TOS multiple launcher hitting fortifications of Kiev forces near the settlement of Seversk in the Donetsk direction.
Three more videos show recent airstrikes that targeted several Ukrainian positions, including a forward observation post near the settlement of Boyaro-Lezhachi in the direction of Sumy, a drone control center near the settlement of Senkovo in the Kharkiv direction, a gathering of equipment close to the settlement of Rogovka in the Chernihiv direction and an ammunition depot in an unidentified direction.
Most of the strikes were carried out using UMPK-equipped guided and glide bombs. The ammunition depot was likely hit by a Kh-38 guided missile.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “the storage areas of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), ammunition depots, temporary deployment areas of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and foreign mercenaries in 147 areas,” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defenses shot down four guided aerial bombs and 268 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 77,184 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,572 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,585 multiple rocket launchers, 28,500 artillery pieces, and 39,648 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
