في 10 أغسطس، تم نشر عدة مقاطع فيديو توثق عمليات عسكرية روسية حديثة ضد قوات كييف على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.
ثمانية من مقاطع الفيديو تُظهر عشرات الهجمات باستخدام طائرات مسيرة انتحارية FPV، وطائرات مسيرة تقذف قنابل، وذخائر حوامة، وطائرات اعتراض استهدفت القوات الأوكرانية والمنشورات والمعدات عبر عدة اتجاهات في منطقة العملية العسكرية الخاصة خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية.
مقطان إضافيان يبيّنان هجمات باستخدام طائرات مسيرة انتحارية من نوع غيران ذات جناح ثابت على وحدتي دفاع جوي أوكرانيتين قرب مستوطنة كرِيفونوسوفكا في اتجاه سومي وبالقرب من مستوطنة جدافو في اتجاه تشيرنيغيف.
فيديو إضافي يظهر ضربة جوية بصاروخ موجه من طراز Kh-38 على مُطلق طائرات مسيرة مُموّه بقوات كييف في مكان ما ضمن منطقة العملية العسكرية الخاصة.
ثلاثة مقاطع أخرى تُظهر ضربات جوية على مواقع أوكرانية وتحصينات وتجمّعات قرب مستوطنتي إيسكا وكوستينتينوفكا في اتجاه دونيتسك، وكذلك بالقرب من مستوطنة بيريزوفو في اتجاه دنيبروبتروفسك. وتم تنفيذ جميع الضربات الجوية باستخدام قنابل موجهة انزلاقية مجهّزة بنظام UMPK، بما في ذلك على الأقل FAB-3000 ضخم واحد.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية في إحاطتها اليومية أن ضربات صاروخية وجوية بالطائرات بدون طيار استهدفت «محوراً سككاً حديدية في منطقة دنيبروبتروفسك، والذي وفر إعادة نشر قوات AFU (القوات المسلحة لأوكرانيا) إلى دونباس، ومستودعات لطائرات بدون طيار طويلة المدى، ومواقع نشر مؤقتة للقوات المسلحة الأوكرانية والمرتزقة الأجانب» في 134 منطقة خلال آخر 24 ساعة.
وأضافت الوزارة أن الدفاعات الجوية الروسية أسقطت خلال نفس الفترة صاروخين بعيدَي المدى من طراز Neptune، وثلاثة صواريخ جوية موجهة، وستة صواريخ HIMARS أمريكية الصنع، و372 طائرة بدون طيار ذات أجنحة ثابتة.
ووفقاً للوزارة، خسرت القوات الأوكرانية منذ بدء العملية العسكرية الخاصة 665 طائرة، و283 مروحية، و76,185 طائرة بدون طيار، و625 منظومة دفاع جوي، و24,519 دبابة ومركبات قتالية مدرعة أخرى، و1,584 راجمة صواريخ متعددة، و28,360 قطعة مدفعية، و39,418 مركبة دعم.
