On April 5, ISIS announced that its fighters in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula had captured and executed a pro-government tribal fighter.

According to the terrorist group’s news agency, Amaq, the execution took place in the area of al-Burth to the south of Rafah city in the northern part of Sinai.

Amaq shared photos of the war crime. The photos show ISIS terrorists shooting the victim, a young man, in the head before burying him in an unmarked grave. The identity of the victim has not been revealed yet.

The victim was reportedly a member of a large pro-government force made up of thousands of tribesmen. This tribal force has been supporting Egyptian government since the outbreak of Sinai insurgency in 2011.

Recently, ISIS, remaining cells in Sinai, shifted their attention from Egyptian government troops, who are heavily armed, to local tribal forces.

Last February, the terrorists group’s fighters raided a checkpoint of pro-government tribal forces near the town of al-Munajim in central Sinai. At least six tribesmen were killed and another was captured.

I feel confident that Israel is backing both sides in the Sinai.
Khazars have a historic strategy of such duplicity.
