On July 22, ISIS announced that its cells had assassinated an Arab military commander of US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) known as Suleiman al-Abboud al-Lutto.
Al-Lautto was shot and killed by ISIS terrorists in his hometown, Abu Hamam, in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on July 20.
According to local sources, al-Lutto, also known as al-Aqrab [the Scorpion], was a senior military commander in the SDF’s 1st Regiment. Days before his assassination, he completed a high-level military training course that made him eligible for a higher military position.
The assassination of al-Lutto was a bold move by ISIS cells, which are not known to be that active in Abu Hamam and its surroundings. The area is held by the Al Shaitat tribe which is very hostile to the terrorist group.
ISIS targeted several Arab commanders and officials of the SDF over the last few months. On July 9, Khalid Saleh al-Dubisia, a member of al-Kasrah’s local council in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, was assassinated by the terrorist group’s cells.
The US-led coalition and the SDF intensified their operations against ISIS cells in northeastern Syria recently. On July 16, six terrorists were neutralized in a successful air landing operation in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside. On July 21, four other terrorists were neutralized in an operation that saw coalition warplanes conducting two airstrikes.
He can rest in hell traitor
When the Turkish military begin to clear the land of Kurds and the PKK, who will they turn too then?
They already get help from the isreali apartheid regime and the US, and they are no further forward than they were 5 years ago.
The Kurds are piggy in the middle because those funding them and facilitating the breaking of International Law don’t want any of the conflicts the region resolved.
The US are using the Kurds like they did in Iraq.
