A school in the Zaytsevo settlement in the north of Gorlovka was attacked yesterday by the Ukrainian Forces as classes were undergoing. According to the statements of a representative of the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), 33 students  and 29 personnel members were in the building at the time when the shelling took place.

It’s been reported that this is the first attack happening in hours of daylight in a long time, more exactly at 9:20 am. A safe timeframe had been set for classes to take place in a secure way, but it seems this wasn’t enough.

Immediately after the attack began, all the people inside the building were evacuated to a safer place.

Representatives of the DPR Defense Ministry and observers of the Joint Center of Control and Coordination (JCCC) have already arrived to the venue of the bombardments to make an evaluation of the events.

Despite the ceasefire implemented as part of the arrangements settled in the Minsk agreements since September 1st, and the weaponry withdrawal process that should have been completed by November 12th, clear violations to the package of measures have been made by Ukrainian Forces.
