Saudi-led Coalition Captures Midi District Center From Houthi (Video)

On April 11, forces loyal to Saudi-backed Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi captured a center of the Midi district of the northwestern Hajjah province after weeks of clashes with the Houthis, the UAE-based al-Arabiya TV reported.

Yemen sources said that pro-Hadi fighters backed by Saudi-led coalition warplanes had killed and captured dozens of Houthi fighters during their attack on the town of Midi.

The Houthis repelled more than three attacks on their positions north of Midi in the last two weeks. However, pro-Hadi forces and the Saudi-led coalition were able to reorganize their forces and launch a successful push towards the town.

By capturing Midi, Saudi Arabia secured a large part of its border with Yemen south of the Saudi Najran province. However, the Houthis are still in control of many key positions on the border.

Al-Arabiya TV reported that the next target of pro-Hadi forces and the Saudi-led coalition is the town of Harad, 30km east of Midi. However, observers doubt that the coalition will be able to capture the town any time soon and even expect a counter-attack of Houthis on Midi.

I’m right here!

“…However, observers doubt that the coalition will be able to capture the town any time soon and even expect a counter-attack of Houthis on Midi…”

Counter-attack Midi? I think the ‘coalition’ should be a hell of a lot more worried about the flip-flop army putting a ballistic missile in the middle of the Ras Tanura or Yanbu refineries. There’s a lot of flammable liquids there and Saudi’s biggest ports are right next door. Let’s see how long the Saudi monarchy lasts when their citizen-slaves can’t eat or get paid for a few weeks. Oh, what I wouldn’t give to see one of those filthy head-chopper-financing pigs trying desperately to waddle away from an angry mob of little people.

hahaha you are talking about paperboard rockets, right?

Pave Way IV

Paperboard rockets for a paperboard monarchy. Ceaușescu thought he was immortal, too.

Look, and it only took an armoured division.

They talk a lot for the camera, and by the amount of rubble lying around they used some heavy weapons. Where are the civilians?
