In Saudi Arabia vacancies for eight executioners are available. It is reported by Reuters citing an announcement on the website made for those who want to work in the civil service.
Special skills are not required from applicants. The announcement said that their main task is execution of the death penalty and amputation of body parts for certain offenses. Job falls under the category of “religious functionaries” and paid at the minimum rate, permissible for the position of public servants.
