Satellite images released on July 15 and in the preceding days have shed light on the scale of recent Iranian strikes against United States and allied military bases across several countries in the Middle East.
Iran and the U.S. have been exchanging strikes for more than a week. The confrontation marks the most serious escalation since the two signed a memorandum of understanding to end the war last month.
In Jordan, imagery shows multiple impact points at King Faisal Air Base, where a warehouse or hangar within the base’s troop accommodation complex appears to have been hit, along with additional storage areas and a possible second hangar. Separate images point to further impacts on the base’s aircraft apron.
At Prince Hassan Air Base, also in Jordan, analysts identified damage to an anti-drone surveillance system and a helicopter hangar, with additional imagery showing a destroyed hangar and a missile strike on the runway. A third Jordanian site, Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base, shows possible impact points on its aircraft apron — a location that has reportedly hosted fighter jets, drones, and helicopters in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, in Oman, a support personnel accommodation facility was struck at the Port of Duqm, according to the imagery.

In Qatar, imagery shows a large hangar destroyed at Al Udeid Air Base, with a separate strike reportedly leaving another hangar severely damaged.

Over in Bahrain, the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters apparently had its unmanned surface vessel hangar demolished by a strike.

And in Kuwait, damage was identified at Ali Al Salem Air Base, where a radar installation and a U.S. drone command-and-control center were reportedly destroyed. Separately, imagery of a former UN headquarters site near the Kuwait–Iraq border shows at least one large hangar destroyed.

The imagery points to a broad pattern of strikes concentrated on hangars, radar and surveillance systems, drone infrastructure, and logistics or accommodation facilities across several U.S. and allied military bases, mainly in Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The effectiveness of air defenses in these countries appears to be declining quickly, even as the intensity of Iranian strikes increases.
