Russia’s Sub Armed with Kalibr Cruise Missiles: Project 636 Varshavyanka (Infographics)

Russian attack submarines have been the mainstream media’s reason of concern since the Project 636 ‘Varshavyanka’ (NATO reporting name: Kilo) sub ‘Rostov-on-Don’ successfully launched four Kalibr missiles cruise missiles on ISIS targets in Syria in December 2015.

Last weekend, the Western press created a new hysteria amid reports that 3 Russian attack subs allegedly jointed the Russian naval task force heading to Syria’s shores: 2 Project 971 ‘Shchuka’ (NATO reporting name: Akula) and 1 Project 636 ‘Varshavyanka’ submarine.

According to the issued reports, the big bad subs will strike peaceful oppositioneers in Aleppo city with cruise missiles.

Where did you find mainstream media report about Russian sub’s? I must have blinked but the 24 hour news cycle is now about 24 min! No reports of Russian subs here. We had something far more serious, killer clowns! While I appreciate the new Kilo and the Akula was always a favorite. Truth is you would need to paint it in a colorful poke a dot pattern with a big red circle on its bow to get it in the Mainstream news!

Kim kardashsian’s arse gets more air time. If a war broke out it would come as a bit of a shock to many in the the US.

A few sites are have quoted sources that state there is a big build up of US air force assets at Diego Garcia. Perhaps that is the US Plan B.
