Russian, Syrian Jets Decimate ISIL’s Offensive Capacities in Deir Ezzor

AlMasdarNews reports: The Syrian and Russian air forces have been relentless in the Deir Ezzor Governorate as of late, targeting the so-called “Islamic State’s” (ISIL) positions around this desert province, while their ground forces punish the terrorist group with a string of attacks.

On Tuesday, the Russian and Syrian air forces took turns bombing the Islamic State’s positions around the southwestern part of the province, hitting a number of terrorist targets near the Ayyash Weapons Storage Facility, Al-Haweeqa District, Sakr Island, Al-Rashidiyah District, and Brigade 137 area.

A military source from the Deir Ezzor Airport told Al-Masdar News on Tuesday night that the constant Russian and Syrian airstrikes have weakened the Islamic State’s resolve in the province, forcing them to stick to hit-and-run attacks, rather than major offensives.

The military source added that the number of attacks by the Islamic State forces has decreased dramatically over the last two weeks; this is also due to a manpower shortage that is a direct result of the Mosul and Al-Raqqa offensives.

Go hard and get rid of those invaders. Gods speed for the Syrian and Russian air forces.
