The Russian military’s Sever Group of Forces repelled five Ukrainian attacks close to the settlements of Malaya Loknya, Cherkasskaya Konopelka, Maryevka and Snagost, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on September 8.

Some 40 Ukrainian troops were killed or wounded during the failed attacks, the ministry said in its daily briefing, adding that one main battle tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and three armored fighting vehicles of Kiev forces were also destroyed.

In addition, the ministry announced that Russian air and artillery strikes hit troops and equipment from Ukraine’s 61st, 115th mechanized brigades, 80th Air Assault Brigade, 92nd Assault Brigade, 152th Jaeger Brigade and 1004th Security and Service Brigade near the settlements of Apanasovka, Borki, Vishnyovka, Vnezapnoye, Kazachaya Loknya, Maryevka, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Obukhovka, Lyubimovka, Knazhiy Perviy and Snagost.

Other strikes targeted, according to the ministry, the reserves of the 22nd Mechanised Brigade, 95th Air Assault Brigade of the AFU, 1st National Guard Brigade as well as the 101st, 103rd, 107th, 113th, and 118th territorial defense brigades close to the settlements of Belopolye, Godunovka, Daryino, Rechki, Khoten, Voronovka, Svessa, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Vladimirovka, Yampol, Stetsovka and Bachevsk in the Ukrainian region of Sumy, which borders Kursk.

“Over the past 24 hours, the AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] losses amounted to up to 510 troops and 19 units of hardware, including three tanks, one infantry fighting vehicle, 15 armored fighting vehicles, two artillery guns, one electronic warfare station, and 13 motor vehicles,” the ministry said.

“Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses amounted to more than 11,220 troops, 87 tanks, 42 infantry fighting vehicles, 74 armored personnel carriers, 624 armored fighting vehicles, 361 motor vehicles, 84 artillery guns, 24 multiple launcher rocket systems, including seven of the United States-made M142 HIMARS system and five of the U.S.-made M270 MLRS system, eight SAM [surface-to-air missile] launchers, two transport-loading vehicles, 21 electronic warfare and seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, eight units of engineering vehicles, including two counter obstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle,” it added.

Separately, the ministry released two videos showing artillery strikes on a large gathering of Kiev forces in a forest near the border of Kursk and a missile strike that killed 30 foreign mercenaries and destroyed six pieces of equipment close to the settlement of Stetskovka in Sumy.

Relying mainly on foreign mercenaries and Western-made weapons, Kiev forces launched a surprise attack from Sumy into Kursk on August 6.
Since the start of the attack, at least 31 Russian civilians have been killed and more than 143 others have been wounded. Moreover, the attack displaced more than 144,000 civilians. The fate of some 2,000 others who lived in areas attacked by Kiev forces remain unknown.

The Russian military has already halted the advance of Kiev forces in Kursk and is reportedly preparing a counter-attack to fully clear the region.

the question is what material the ukrainians smoke in kursk and why. perhaps this is the material left behind by the heroic russian defenders as they fleeed heroically. perhaps the transit pipeline operator left the cigarettes there, although this is outrageous, because the natural gas pipeline operators should not smoke. anyway, we look forward to other articles where this will be clarifiied for the curious readers

the question is that russian generals should launch one missile ( supersonic/ hypersonic) per day vs kiev!

Z Malcolm

this is, after all, a key question. in my opinion, no. first of all, the incompetent russian generals who can’t even command infantrymen should be fired. but that’s the problem again, that becoming a russian general requires being a buddy from putin. sometimes it works when putin befriends a hotdog dealer who unexpectedly discovered a marshal’s stick among those hotdogs. but the hotdog seller is unfortunately dead because he kind of stopped being putin’s friend.

D.K.

your opinion is not relevant!
your crying however is very amusing.

K.D.

i’m glad you are enjoying reading my opinions. i will try to bring even more and even more imaginative ones, since the articles themselves are just empty and unfanciful propaganda

D.K.

not in line with your opinion is called propaganda. propaganda lost its meaning.
feel free not to express your opinion here since noone actually cares.

K.D.

i appreciate the conceptual framework you’re presenting. i agree that discourse surrounding epistemic relativity often transcends mere propaganda. but please, take into your consideration, that a holistic understanding of the multifaceted reality we inhabit can lead to a dilution of authentic dialogue. i will try to bring even more and even more imaginative answers to your further inputs.

dont pliagarise thingy 1 or whatever

kary

why “should be fired”?? all incompetent russian generals should be sent to front line of combat.

kary kary

that’s a great idea. i can’t explain one hundred percent why putin didn’t send all his incompetent generals to fight like infantry soldiers already. i can only speculate in the sense that, as former friends of putin, they have shown a certain degree of loyalty, for example, that they have already drunk a few hectolitres of vodka with him. in the worst case, they have some compromising details on him that they could talk about before getting shot.

kary kary

you also have to take into account that we’re talking about russia. killing ten or twenty or fifty thousand of your own soldiers by sheer incompetence is not a great deal in the russian army. but to show independence, to think ahead, to do something on your own, to have better results than others without any instructions from above, that’s a recipe for disaster.

Z Malcolm

russia is now attempting to compensate a critical shortage of capable commanders by dropping its $10 million hypersonic missiles on worthless targets for propaganda purposes. that’s very stupid of them. each of these missiles could carry a nuclear bomb and fly to headquarters in berlin, paris, london and brussels instead with much better results.

Batman

what a tard , only a monkey doesn’t know if they do that russia eould disapear from the map too ,so…

Batman Batman

you are suggesting that wasting hypersonic nuclear capable missiles worth 10 millions usd each on 3rd grade targets for propaganda reasons is a smart strategy ?

i have been studying houhout’s input for some time and i think there are a number of distinct possibilities. is he a person with immense unparalleled insight into the complex inner workings of the russian federation’s administration? or is he a hyperactive paranoid schizophrenic with multiple personalities? or is he just a bit of a tosser?

the nazis have no choice, either to hold the kursk territories or to “stabilize” the destroyed front of donbass.

oh, the nazis have so many options. this scenario can be repeated over and over in different directions. any such step will confuse the most competent general staff of the russian army for the next three weeks. if they repeat this game of chicken quite often, the russian general staff will be permanently confused for months in a row, eventually the ukrainians will arrive in moscow.and tsar putin himself will be so confused that he will have to look up a google map to find his way around.

houhout - original - 3

it is also necessary to take into account the speed with which those outrageous ukrainians spread all over kursk. they allowed themselves something like mobile warfare, they took 20 km of enemy territory in a single day. this is outrageous insolence. the russians maintain a maximum speed of 25 meters per day during their offensives, so their enemies manage to re-entrench, mine the access roads, summon reinforcements and there will be no nasty surprises.

houhout - original - 4

it is clear that the russian army is simply fighting with character. they faces full combat madness head-on. no tricks and certainly no fast movement. moving fast is dangerous, especially when your tanks are running out of fuel due to minor confusion in supply routes. for example, that russian tanks are near kyiv but the fuel supply vehicles are in vladivostok. moving fast is unhealthy and you can get killed.

Gringo Desperados

they almost captured one village granny whose loyalty they tried to gain with a food parcel but ran away when she kicked it back to them and drew her thumb across her throat in a menacing manner.

this was better behavior than the croats showed grandma serbs in the krajina, who they simply shot while their us handlers simply looked on during operation storm.

i wonder, would that suggest that us military are actually more vicious than ukrainian? i find that a fanciful notion.

arthur brogard

that’s completely wrong isn’t it? you don’t ‘take’ 20 km of territory by driving through it.

D.K.

dreaming about non existing options while the ukrainians get hammered….ukraine should make you a commander since you are quite the strategist.

Untitled Burial

there is no “holding” as they are being grinded down by drones and snipers. they are cutoff from supply lines and have 50k chechens about to sweep them off the face of the earth.

all while they lose valueable defensive/ strategic positioning in donbass and elsewhere.

Kibosh

exactly! the only thing confusing the russian general staff, is trying to understand what houhout is talking about, no one seems to know, not mi6, or the cia. it’s like he is speaking his own version of retardistani that only he understands.

not quite as rosy as you might think. they fought through malaya loknya didn’t they? went 10km north. i’m not sure where they are now. conflicting reports. but the point is forward progress. you don’t do that if you’ve no fuel, no ammo, no logistics behind you.
point is they are clearly in attack mode here and there and being maintained despite all that’s said.

Smokey the Bear

yes it’s been totally corrupted for decades. by fascists fundamentally who want it’s wealth and location. they want to cut russias only sea port off, and steal ukraines wealth forevermore as a piece of prime real estate, and thus make conquering russia china much easier as a bonus.

you have a crack in your scientific work. the ukrainians went to the surprised, non-resisting russians, who smoked there and made coffee on a samovar. every single ukrainian took twenty of them to the god perun. but russians when they will reconquer it after couple of month, will go toward trenches, minefields, machine guns in every window and mortars on every hill. it will take them again 20 russians for a single ukrainian. it’s the price to pay when you’re a complete dumbass.

you have to respect a man who is fluent in authentic neocon gibberish. not many sane people can master this talent.

Gringo Desperados

another excellent example of the neocon’s concept of full spectrum dominance transmogrifying into full spectrum flatulence.

Kibosh

it makes wiping out your enemies so much more economical when they have to spend all their gas money driving to your defenses and cauldron set ups, than if you have to make the efforts to close with their defenses. specially when you have full air superiority over the front and can pick off choice targets on route with khinzal pizza.

Kibosh

nato nazis like eating khinzal pizza so much, they decided to travel to russia to get more delivered on their heads. if you order now, you get free body bags with each delivery.

i like the idea that our experts from sf came up with. that russia will destroy all ukrainians with precision hits of hypersonic missiles. great. unfortunately, each of that crap costs 10 million dollars and the russians can’t print dollars on rotary presses like the americans. even the idea is not entirely new. the americans tried something similar in afghanistan, admittedly, with much dumber and cheaper missiles against goatfuckers, and as a result, the ass was indelibly torn. american ass.

Russian Legion

state of the art hypersonic missiles do
not cost russia 10% of that. usa defense contractors have tax-payer grift arrangement and bloat every project and budget and stupid corrupt politicians pay
for everything with fake monopoly money. that is why usa has rampant inflation. it’s because of tax payer grift / corruption

Legion Russian

i’ll tell you a huge military secret, but you mustn’t tell anyone. average ukrainian soldier cost nato exactly nothing. and as for as his weapons and gear, it actually made americans profits as it was paid by money printed out of nothing.

Last edited 3 months ago by Legion Russian
Vegard

not printed out of nothing. the usa is paying the price. it has serious economic problems i.e. inflation and a cost of living crisis. a pending credit bubble that is worse than the 2008 housing recession. slumvilles and terrible infrastructure. all of this could be solved if america spent money at home for its crumbling infrastructure and society instead of military misadventures which only benefit corrupt politicians, corporations, and bankers. there is a price to pay, ultimately.

Last edited 3 months ago by Vegard
vegard vegard

oh lordy lordy. it doesn’t work that way. the fed prints money for the us government. but there is an agreement that (theoretically) they cannot spread “helicopter money” directly into the system, so they “invest” it on the financial market. then a few multi-billionaires (almost all of them are jewish, by the way) speculate and manipulate these markets, which is quite easy for them because they control all the media and their billions make billions more.

vegard vegard

it causes inflation because the entire world uses the u.s. dollar as a reserve currency. so equipment for ukraine is paid for by a german pensioner who has been hardworking and earning money as an imbecile for all his life, only to find out that he will never receive any pension. leaving aside the embarrassing detail that half of the american weapons were paid for by the european union with european taxpayers’ money
