On June 23, Russian missile strike targeted a military lyceum in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, near Odessa, ruining Ukrainian attempts to blame the Russian military in another attack on civilians. Images from the scene confirmed military use of the building. While Ukrainian sources initially framed the attack as another strike on civilian infrastructure, photographs showed crates with ammunition near the entrance—raising questions about whether the school had been repurposed for military purposes.
The attack destroyed part of the lyceum, with local emergency services and military personnel quickly arriving at the scene. However, social media footage and photos captured green military storage crates near the building’s entrance, suggesting the possible presence of weapons or ammunition.

Ukrainian media reported that the school had hosted a graduation ceremony just a day before the strike, attempting to emphasize the civilian nature of the site. Yet, the presence of military equipment indicates that Ukrainian forces have been using the location for logistical purposes, making it a legitimate military target under the laws of war.
Local pro-Ukrainian channels initially condemned the attack as another Russian strike on civilians. However, their own footage inadvertently undermined this claim by showing:
- Military personnel at the scene in full gear, not typical for civilian rescue operations
- Ammunition or equipment storage crates near the entrance
- Rapid military response, suggesting prior awareness of the site’s significance.
If the lyceum was indeed storing military supplies, it would mean Ukrainian forces placed equipment in a civilian building, which in turn is another violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits using protected structures like schools for military purposes.
a real strategic missile attack by russia would be to flatten the port at odessa completely then all the attacks on russia from there would end and imports of weapons stopped.

history proves it -operation barbarossa as ukraine was invaded by the ss the ukrainians welcomed them and supported them as they hated communism but due to the ss atrocities they formed guerrilla bands in 1942 and caused much trouble to the german armies -its well documented it was called the upa ukrainian insurgent army .
