Russian Military Police En Route To Hama Province (Photos)

A Syrian media activist, Ali Hamdan, released photos of an alleged convoy of the Russian Military Police en route from Tartus to northern Hama. The photos were reportedly taken few days ago.

Last weekend rumors appeared that some Russian military servicemen (most likely members of the Military Police) arrived the northern countryside of Hama where clashes between pro-government forces and the militant coalition led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) were ongoing.

Russian servicemen were allegedly deployed to the area of the predominantly Christian town of Mhardeh that had been already liberated by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) by that moment.
