On December 24, the Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged successful strikes on Ukrainian military facilities in different regions of the country. The Russian military reported massive strikes on Ukrainian airfields in the Dnieper, Khmelnitsky and Kirovograd regions.

Over the past day alone, launchers of the mobile anti-aircraft missile system NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-air Missile System) and French Crotale-NG were hit at the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnitsky region. Aviation equipment, flight navigation equipment and aviation ammunition were hit at the Kanatovo airfield in the Kirovograd region and the Dnepr airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

More manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine came under Russian fire in 127 districts. For example, the ammunition depot of the 113th Brigade of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense was destroyed in the area of Liptsy in the Kharkiv region.

Another victory of the Russian military over the past day was the interception of four more Ukrainian aircraft by Russian air defense forces. They include three Su-27 and one Su-24 of the Ukrainian Air Force that were shot down in the areas of the settlements of Shirokoe and Odarovka in the Zaporizhia region, as well as Grigorovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to the Russian military, despite losses in military equipment, Ukrainian losses in manpower in different regions included about 750 servicemen killed and wounded:

  • more than 40 soldiers killed and wounded in the Kupyansk direction;
  • up to 100 servicemen in the Krasny Liman area;
  • up to 350 servicemen in the Donetsk direction;
  • up to 110 servicemen in the South Donetsk direction;
  • up to 80 servicemen in the Kherson region;

The outskirts of the Donetsk city agglomeration remain one of the hottest battlefields of the ongoing war. The Russian military is holding the military initiative, advancing in various directions around Bakhmut, encircling Avdeevka and expanding the zone of their control around Mariinka. Retreating Ukrainian units are suffering the heaviest losses in this areas.

just over two years ago i predicted russia will win the war in ukraine. as a consequence nato and its minions will be disgraced enough for the western nut jobs to do something extraordinarily stupid. we all know the cia is a bunch of good looking morons without six sense abilities but the stupidity of the next decision is beyond imagination. this will lead to the demise of the collective west. read this over and over.
