Russian-Led Forces Claim New Victories On Donbass Front Lines

Amid the retreat of the Russian military in the Kherson region, the joint forces of Russia, the DPR and the LPR announced new victories on the Donbass front lines.

On November 11, Russian-led forces took control of the town of Mayorsk, located on the northwestern outskirts of Gorlovka.

The battle for Mayorsk lasted about two months. The first reports of clashes on the outskirts of the town came in early September.

The assault was mainly carried out by servicemen of the 3rd Brigade of the People’s Militia of the DPR. Their advance was slowed down by the need to storm deep concrete Ukrainian strongholds which were heavily fortified over 8 years of the AFU anti-terrorist operation against the population of Donbass.

The DPR control of this settlement is of great strategic importance, since it allows the Russian Army to develop its offensive on Dzerzhinsk (now known as Toretsk). An important railway junction is also located in the city.

The liberation of Mayorsk is also of great importance from a humanitarian point of view. The DPR can now open the floodgates at the dam in the town, which was controlled by the Ukrainian Nazis for many years, and supply water to Donetsk and Gorlovka via the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal. This means that there will no longer be a shortage of drinking water and no huge queues to the pumps in Donbass.

Another victory of Russian-led forces was declared in the area of Avdiivka. After the territory of Donetsk airport has recently come under Russian control, the village of Opytne, located between Avdiivka and Donetsk airport, was also captured by the Russian Army.

Russian control of a strategically important village to the west of Donetsk will reduce the shelling of the civilian population of the capital of the republic.

The control of the village also allows Russian-led forces to continue attempts to encircle the Ukrainian grouping in Avdiivka. They will advance towards the villages of Pervomaiske and Vodiane and then turn to Tonenkoe. The Russian positions in Tonenkoe will allow them to establish fire control over the Orlovka—Avdiivka road, which will create a direct threat to the operational encirclement of the AFU grouping in Avdiivka.

It is expected that the Ukrainian command will soon transfer reserves to the area in order to stabilize the front. Ukrainian units will now strengthen their defense in Vodiane and prepare the second line of defense in Tonenkoe.

North of Avdiivka, the front line has been running along the Konstantinovka—Avdiivka highway since summer. In the town, there are also no changes, the front line runs on the outskirts, in the area of the industrial zone.

Just stop, its obvious the Russian army under Putin is incapable of protecting Russians or Russian interests. Russia should just surrender, it is a failed State.

The Russians lose a city and gain a babushka’s garden.
Typical Putin efficiency and professionalism.

Not me.
I will just skip the comments if it continues. I come for the articles.
One assclown commenter does not change the content of the articles.

SF should just shut down the comment sections and the paid NATO trolls will have to get real jobs.

We need the comment section. Somehow occasional moderation might help. My problem is, I’ve posted a number of thoughtful comments that reCAPTCHA censored for some reason. I never figured out what caused it.

On 11 November 2030, Russian-led forces stormed Donbass after Donetsk has been shelled for 16 years and took over the little but strategic very important settlement Toretsk (previously known as Dzerzhinsk).
Russia will from here prepare a second line of defence of Donbass.
It is expected that the Ukrainian command in the coming years up to 2035 will transfer reserves to the Donbass area in order to stabilize the artillery front against Donetsk.

The feebleness of the Russian military is depressing. Having lost the military iniative they are now retreating, defeated. The disgusting Ukies at least show grit. Every day the west sanctions, attacks Russia. While Putin sits like a stunned duck and does nothing.

The feebleness of your brain is concerning. Taking the meds still ? The factual evidence of Russia kicking all of nato’s ass sort of puts you in as a liar.

I think your viewer need to know that these positions whee part of the airport complex and where of Soviet military origin. The originally housed RADAR and radio communications for the airport aircraft operations. Some statements have lead to the belief that they may have also been linked into the titanium ore mined from the area in an underground mine linked to the town of Avidivka as to the term ‘the catacombs’.
