The Russian military has destroyed at least ten howitzers of Kiev forces across the frontline using Lancet loitering munitions between March 1 to 15, according to footage posted to social networks.
Five of the targeted howitzers were towed, including a British-Italian-made FH-70 and an American-made M777. The remaining howitzers were all self-propelled, including a Ukrainian-made 2S22 Bohdana. The howitzers were hit in the directions of Kursk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.
The Lancet was developed by the ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of Russia’s defense giant Kalashnikov Concern. The company produces two versions of the loitering munition, the Izdeliye-52 with an endurance of 30 minutes and a one-kilogram warhead and the larger Izdeliye-51 that has an endurance of 40 minutes and is armed with a warhead weighting three kilograms.
The loitering munition flies towards the designated area with a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system. After arriving in the area, the operator utilizes an onboard electro-optical system via a two-way data-link to detect, track and lock on the target. A laser-ranging system then controls the detonation of the warhead.
Ukrainian attempts to stop Lancet loitering munitions with air defense fire, electronic warfare or countermeasures have so far been mostly unsuccessful.
The weapon system has been especially effective against Ukrainian artillery. According to Lostarmour.info, a website that documents military losses, Lancet strikes have so far destroyed or damaged 430 self-propelled howitzers, 606 towed howitzers and 61 multiple rocket launch systems of Kiev forces.

if i were putin myself, i would agree to peace. but i would demand from ukraine all the territories east of kiev, because ukraine already lost the war when it attacked the independent people’s republic territories in the east in 2014. and absolute disarmament like germany did after ww2.
i’d agree to ceasefire only when western deliveries (money, weapons, intel, freelancers…) is also verifiably halted.
for the territories: each oblast should have the possibility for a referendum to choose uk or ru. let the people decide their future.
if some regions are 50:50 or 30:70 … then split and let people exchange homes (better than getting bombed)
