On September 1, a unit of the Russian Military Police was deployed in the southern part of the Syrian city of Daraa, known as Daraa al-Balad, to implement a reconciliation agreement that was reached just a day earlier.
The agreement, which was brokered by Russia, put an end to a serious conflict between Syrian authorities and locals in Daraa in Daraa al-Balad. The conflict began more than two months ago when some 100 wanted gunmen refused to hand over their arms or leave. The Syrian Arb Army (SAA) responded by imposing a siege and attacking the area.

The Russian Military Police entered Daraa al-Balad accompanied by several units from the 8th Brigade, a unit of the SAA’s 5th Corps that is dedicated for former rebels in Daraa.
The Syrian and Russian flags were both risen over the area, where until very recently protests against the Syrian government were being organized.

Under the Russian-bordered agreement 34 wanted gunmen will join the reconciliation process. Those who refused to will leave Daraa. The wanted gunmen have already begun to hand over their personal arms.

Furthermore, the Syrian Military Intelligence Directorate and the 8th Brigade will establish a number of posts inside and around Daraa al-Balad.
This is not the first attempt to resolve Daraa al-Balad peacefully. Over the last two months, a number of similar attempts failed. The new agreement appears to be holding up as for now. This may, however, change in the upcoming few days.
I would think that the spectacle of the dying US Empire and the Saudi move to accept fuel payments in alternative currencies to the US petro dollar are putting the seed of doubt in the minds of the terror mercenaries in Syria. :)
Wahhabis worship only one god, that is green, made of paper, have tower with an eye on top of it and number 100$.
Now, they’re in this quagmire in Yemen.
This Dragon of evil, the Satan have four heads. One is in Riyadh, second in Tel Aviv, third in London, and fourth in Washington.
If we just get rid and chopp of one of those, say in Riyadh we’re doing businesses.
Not occupation police but liberation forces.
Most excellent Comrades.
CIAtrolls and hasbarats will cry and rage :)
Disarm those willing to reconcile and send the hardline militants to Idlib, where they are contained and cannot cause further problems in south. In Idlib they will out of the way, spending their days infighting with other militants, and being ordered around by foreign Turks.
