Russian Defense Ministry Investigates Incident With Releasing ‘Wrong’ Photos In Its Al-Bukamal Statement

The Russian Defense Ministry said that it is investigating its civil employee who attached wrong photos to illustrate its statement on the ISIS withdrawal from al-Bukamal.

“The Defense Ministry is investigating its civil service employee who erroneously attached wrong photo illustrations to its statement on interaction between the US-led international coalition and militants of the Islamic State [terrorist organization outlawed in Russia] near Abu Kamal, Syria,” the ministry said, according to the Russian state-run media agency TASS. “The United States’ refusal to carry out strikes against ISIL (former name of Islamic State – TASS) terrorist convoys retreating from Abu Kamal is a fact recorded in the transcripts of the talks and, therefore, well known to the American side, just as the active counteraction by US aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces, which were ready to destroy ISIL terrorists who were regrouping for new attacks against government troops near Abu Kamal.”

It also released released authentic photos of the ISIS military convoy leaving al-Bukamal:

There’s no simplest solution to this problem than delete your Facebook account.
I do not even know why they had one…

“Scoop” for Bell-end cat? The only “scoops” that so-called “amateur analyst” website provide are courtesy of US/Zionist imperial spy agencies. If one mistaken photo release is the worst that can be said of the Russian official sources then they are likely the best in the world, in light of the endless falsehoods and bungles from their Western counterparts. Here we see the correct photos above and a retraction – when was the last time the US mouthpieces admitted to their false reports?

There should be very serious investigation on that person who did this. He has done a lot of damage to RuMod credibility. If they find evidence that he did it intentionally (I do not believe in such “mistakes”) than they should investigate who’s behind his actions. Than his wrong doings may be judged more seriously.

and a very very very loud and very long one in order to discourage such behaviour

Destroying credibility – isn’t that what the intel agencies practice?
But at the end of the day, this is a school boy trick. You know, inserting a naked butt picture in a biology slide-show. I’m sure the Russian MoD know how to deal with it. As far as I am concerned, credibility is intact.
You know existing among the constant stream of lies that is the western propaganda, official and unofficial, this is almost refreshing. MoD takes seriously that their information department has some integrity. We haven’t seen that in the west for decades.

Nosferatu

you are correct. But what was the idiot who did this thinking? Was he thinking that russian MOD is not going to find out or that US ambassador in RF is going to protect him? If he is lucky, FSB will get him before CIA will kill him to cover up their work

If Russia wants to communicate with the rest of the world then it’s high time they use English on their captions in their press release.
