Cadre changes continue in the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry. Sources close to the Russian Defense Ministry reported that according to available information, Army General Surovikin has been appointed commander of a special military operation that Russia is conducting in the former Ukrainian territories.

Earlier, on September 24, 2022, the Defense Ministry announced that Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev was appointed to the post of Deputy Defense Minister in charge of material and technical support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Army General Dmitry Bulgakov was removed from his post. Many Russian military observers attributed Bulgakov’s personality to the revealed failures in the logistical support of the group of Russian troops involved in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

This week it also became known about at least three more personnel changes in the command of the Russian army.

1.Roman Berdnikov became commander of the Western Military District. He had previously been commander of the Integrated combined arms force of the Eastern Military District, and later headed a grouping of Russian troops in Syria. In 2018, by decree of President Vladimir Putin, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia. Roman Berdnikov succeeded Colonel General Alexander Zhuravlev, who has commanded forces of the Western Military District since 2018.

2. Rustam Muradov was appointed commander of the Eastern Military District. In 2017. He received the title of Hero of Russia.  Since December 2018, he was deputy commander of the troops of the Southern Military District. He also commanded the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh. Previously the position of commander of the troops of the Eastern Military District was held by Alexander Chaiko.

3. Vice-Admiral Viktor Sokolov was appointed the new commander of the Black Sea Fleet. He graduated from the Frunze Higher Naval School, the Higher Special Officer Classes of the Navy, and the Kuznetsov Naval Academy. From 2020 he headed the Military Training and Research Center of the Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov. Sokolov succeeded Admiral Igor Osipov. Under Osipov’s fleet command, Russia lost the missile cruiser Moskva, the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet.

Kiev should be bombed. It is a disgrace and scandal that Zelensky feels brave enough to parade himself in the open and to stage his perverse photo ops. He should be in a damp bunker eating stale bread!

It’s the principle of it. The figurehead fuhrer of the clown reich should be humiliated and not be allowed to make propaganda for his cause, which is a brazen challenge and insult to Russians.

We are watching the most historical exciting events in a thousand years. The change of a unipolar western dominated world to a multipolar new world or order based on
aspirations and purpose, destiny and fullfilment of dreams.

Indeed, its no good changing the command if the policy remains the same, yet another attack on Russian infrstructure overnight with the Crimean Bridge, yet hardly any Ukrainian infrastructure bombed,Russia needs to bomb Ukraine back a hundred years then launch a blitzkrieg to take all of East Ukraine, otherwise this will continue like the Syrian bleeding sore.

Chinky madoo

And 3 people died, there has to be a crushing response for this

GARETH PECK

Why should the Russians respond to Jew bait with a conventional counterattack? What the Russians are continually doing, is fucking up the Zionists in the long run anyway. The Jews NEED a hot response, they are running low on gas and time.

Hopefully this guy has his shit together. I would also hope they let him fight a war and do what needs to be done, no more holding back.

Yes, I just added something more to his lack of knowledge.

RealityOfWar

It’s good to see and a historical norm for Russia to be changing generals during times of war. War is all about adapting to change on the battlefield and being able to formulate a winning strategy and trajectory. Russia has some deficiencies in being able to hold territory – although this should not be overblown, as largely the position is much the same – Russia has acquired a massive swathe of territory to match locals’ self-determination. Russia though has to improve the efficiency of killing the Ukrainian Nazis, has to be more effective countering western logistics and supplies, has to pressurize Ukrainian leadership (they are sitting in Kiev shooting drugs) and has to get more boots on the ground such that Russian territory is fully secured, and more regions can be offered self-determination. Some 300K available for stabilization and another 200K on the offensive (including the additional Chechens) is a good iterative step and test for the next phase of the special military operation. Russia cannot stand still it needs stabilize and expand!

You can change all you like, its the political will to unleash these people to do what needs to be done,so far thats what is missing, after 8 months there shouldn’t be a finctioning railway system in Ukraine or aa airport in one piece.

ArmenianCekko

hahahahahahaha again change within the Russian army. This is like a dooms scenario for any general. No one wants to do this job in Ukraine. The operation in Ukraine is doomed to fail.
