In the Slaviansk direction, Russian troops are clearing ravines northeast of Kalenyky, advancing towards the forested area north of Rai-Oleksandrivka, and forming “pincers” on the approaches to this fortified area, while simultaneously destroying Ukrainian armored vehicles. In the Sumy direction, Russian units of the “North” grouping advanced 350 meters, repelling attempts to transfer punitive detachments of the 33rd Assault Regiment, while in the Krasnopillia district the advance amounted to up to 1300 meters. In the Kharkiv direction, assault groups advanced 400 meters in the Vovchansk sector, destroying the command post of the 159th Brigade in Buhayivka, and in the Burluk direction, units of the 83rd Regiment pushed Ukrainian formations out of Shevyakivka, expanding the control zone by 4 kilometers. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, units of the “East” grouping continue fighting on the approaches to Vozdvizhevka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Komsomolske, destroying reinforcement groups and equipment of Ukrainian troops. The police of Slovakia have launched an investigation against Prime Minister Robert Fico on charges of high treason following the cessation of emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine.

Sumy Direction

In the Sumy direction, assault groups of the “North” grouping continue to fight fiercely, advancing deeper into the region. Russian troops struck concentrations of personnel and equipment of Ukrainian units in the areas of Manukhivka, Ivolzhanske, Kondrativka, Semenivka, Bakhmach, and Khotyn. Assault groups advanced in the Sumy district on eighteen sections and in the Hlukhiv district on two; the total advance over the day amounted to up to 350 meters.

The Ukrainian command is transferring punitive detachments from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment to the Shostka district. These detachments are intended to “motivate” refuseniks from the 210th “Berlingo” Assault Regiment (over 40 personnel have refused to carry out tasks), and also to influence the local population to prevent their evacuation to Russian territory.

In the Krasnopillia district, Russian assault detachments, during fierce firefights, advanced up to 1300 meters on four sections. One serviceman of the 119th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade was captured.

Kharkiv Direction

In the Kharkiv direction, assault groups of the “North” grouping pushed Ukrainian units back from the state border. Russian troops struck concentrations of personnel and equipment in the areas of Vesele, Rubizhne, Varvarivka, Velykyi Burluk, Verkhnya Pysarivka, Rohan, and Kochetok.

Crews of the Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense struck with heavy flamethrower systems a concentration of personnel of the 127th Separate Tank
Mechanized Brigade at a strongpoint in the Izbitske area.

In the Vovchansk direction, assault groups advanced up to 400 meters on eight sections. Analysis of obituaries confirmed the destruction of the command post of the 159th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Buhayivka. Currently, Ukrainian units are attempting to evacuate the remains of officers from the settlement.

In the Burluk direction, units of the “North” grouping resumed attacks on the eastern flank. As recently as yesterday, this line remained stable, but today reports have emerged that assault groups of the 83rd Regiment pushed Ukrainian units out of Shevyakivka. This small settlement is located near Chuhunivka, where the Ukrainian side repeatedly launched counterattacks with no success. Russian troops are consolidating in the new sector, expanding the control zone by 4 kilometers in width. While the Ukrainian side’s attention is focused on the vicinity of Huliaipole, it is logical to expect new attacks by Russian units in the border area – assault groups have the ability to stretch reserves and are taking advantage of this.

Slaviansk Direction

In the Slaviansk direction, the clearing of ravines northeast of Kalenyky continues. Ukrainian units managed to equip powerful fortifications here; a large number of observation posts remain in the sector, which adjust fire without exposing themselves. The supply of such groups is carried out exclusively by air using drones. Russian operators from unmanned aerial vehicle platoons of the 3rd Army are identifying supply drop points.
Ukrainian groups are counterattacking from the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka through forested areas towards Kalenyky, as well as along the river towards Kryva Luka. Southwest of Reznykivka, Russian assault groups cleared a forested area southwest of Kalenyky, after which they continued advancing towards the forested area north of Rai-Oleksandrivka, where fighting is ongoing for the main strongpoint. In Reznykivka itself, units of the 6th Brigade advanced slightly north of the settlement; clearing of a ravine and the western part is underway.

In the southern sector, fighting continues on the Fedorivka Druha–Nykyforivka line, where Russian units are also approaching Rai-Oleksandrivka from the south. “Pincers” are forming on the approaches to this important fortified area, and it appears that fighting for it will begin soon.

The entire sector near Rai-Oleksandrivka consists of a ridge of ravines and forested areas that the Ukrainian side uses for weapons transfer and counterattacks. Despite the terrain, Russian units are advancing and clearing positions.

In the Minkivka area, fighting is ongoing – the village is important for the Ukrainian side due to a key height; Ukrainian units are counterattacking from tree lines south of the settlement. Fighting continues for Fedorivka Druha and Lypivka; consolidation in the villages has not yet been achieved. In Kramatorsk, the identification and destruction of drone control points, as well as city power supply facilities, is underway.

Meanwhile, on the bank of the Siverskyi Donets, Ukrainian units made a sortie, penetrating into the swampy zone south of Yampil. Footage has appeared online of artillery strikes on this area, as well as on the outskirts of Zakotne. Possibly, the Ukrainian side had a relatively large-scale objective, such as reaching the rear of Russian troops towards the Serebryanske forestry, however, infantry groups were blocked and are now being destroyed by drone and artillery strikes.
Throughout the direction, the active destruction of Ukrainian automotive and armored transport continues. This has led to predictable results: since the beginning of the year, the number of missing personnel in Ukrainian units near Slaviansk is approaching one thousand, second only to the Dobropillia and Huliaipole directions.

Zaporizhzhia Direction

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, assault units of the “East” grouping are advancing west and northwest of Huliaipole. The destruction of the logistics of Ukrainian units west of the Rizdvianka–Verkhnia Tersa line continues. Russian assault groups are engaged in fierce fighting on the approaches to Vozdvizhevka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Komsomolske, wedging into the depth of the defense and expanding the control zone to the west and northwest of Ternovate.

Taking advantage of weather conditions, Ukrainian units made several unsuccessful attempts to launch attacks across the Vovcha River, as well as to advance in the direction of Ternovate and Rizdvianka.

The main efforts of the Ukrainian side are focused on strengthening forward positions, rotating personnel, and delivering supplies. Artillery fire and FPV drone strikes engaged eight reinforcement groups in the areas of Mechene, Levadne, Dolynka, and Charivne.

Conclusion

Analysis of the operational situation indicates the persistence of high-intensity combat operations in all directions. In the Sumy direction, the “North” grouping continues methodical advancement, expanding the buffer zone and facing attempts by the Ukrainian command to transfer punitive detachments to hold the front. Significant tactical successes have been achieved in the Krasnopillia district, with advances of up to 1300 meters. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops, having destroyed the command post of the 159th Brigade and pushed Ukrainian units out of Shevyakivka, demonstrate the ability to deliver precise strikes on command structures and expand bridgeheads along the border. In the Slaviansk direction, the formation of “pincers” on the approaches to Rai-Oleksandrivka, along with the active destruction of equipment and logistics of Ukrainian units, creates prerequisites for the imminent start of fighting for this key fortified area. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, despite attempts by the Ukrainian side to seize the initiative, Russian troops maintain pressure on Vozdvizhevka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Komsomolske, destroying reserves and equipment.

In the international political context, an important event was the initiation of an investigation against the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. The opposition party Sloboda a Solidarita accused him of high treason following the decision to halt emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine. Earlier, Fico stated that Slovakia is stopping aid to Ukraine in the form of electricity supplies, as oil supplies needed by the country via the Druzhba pipeline were not restored by Kyiv. The police launched an investigation; the statement from the General Prosecutor’s Office was transferred to the regional prosecutor’s office, and then to the police.

This investigation demonstrates the growing political tension within EU countries related to support for Ukraine. The position of Slovakia and Hungary, which consistently advocate for the protection of national energy interests and use economic levers to pressure Kyiv, is drawing sharp criticism from the opposition and will likely be used for internal political struggle. Against the backdrop of the successful offensive of Russian troops in all directions, such intra-European conflicts weaken the unified front of support for Ukraine and demonstrate that energy security issues are becoming a priority over pan-European solidarity for a number of states. This creates additional risks for Kyiv, which has already faced the blocking of EU loans by Hungary and Slovakia.
