Head of the Russian General Staff, Lt. Gen. Sergey Rudskoy, said Friday that trucks carrying weapons for al-Nusra militants arrive in Syria from Turkey on a daily basis. The supplies allow al-Nusra to operate actively and continue local attacks.
Rudskoy added in Friday’s press briefing that al-Nusra’s activity hinders the fight against ISIS in Syria.
“The never-ending flow of large trucks from Turkey carrying weapons and ammunition crosses the Turkish-Syrian border. This constant feed of live forces and weapons allows terrorists from the Nusra Front to continue their provocative shelling and make advances on Syrian government forces, which diminishes [government military] activity against Islamic State terrorists in other areas,” the Russian media cites Rudskoy’s statement.

According to Rudskoy, heaviest clashes are centered around areas where the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Nusra Front is active and the US knows this.
“Everyone knows, and our US partners admit that the biggest hot spots of active military operations are those parts of the Syrian Republic where the al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists from the al-Nusra Front run rampant.”
However, the US has refused the Russian idea to conduct joint operations against terrorist in Syria.
The Russian general emphasized that al-Nusra hampers the ceasefire efforts in Northern Syria.
How long does Russia want to ask or suggest the U.S to cooperate in Syria. Cooperation is possible only if the parties share some common objectives. In Syria, the U.S wants to force a regime change by all means and Russia apparently wants the opposite. Is that so difficult for the Russian deciders to figure it out ??? The U.S made it clear: Align under US Command and nothing else. Therefore it is now time for Russia to stop asking the U.S for cooperation to fight ISIS and others U.S Terror assets . It is starting to be humiliating for Russia supporters.

Would you not agree that a diplomatic solution is cheaper and less time consuming than a military solution? Thanks to the Russian intervention the Assad regime is as stable as practical given the situation. There are still ongoing operations in Syria so warfare is still an option but given the condition of the Syrian forces, a far riskier and more expensive in both $$$, lives and widening of conflict than a diplomatic solution. Why not try for the cheap easy diplomatic option instead of going straight to the war option and risk losing everything?
That would be nice if diplomacy were a possibility.

Boris it enrages me too. I just want to see Putin fight back and stop trying to suck up to the monkey. These trucks described here should be bombed as soon as they cross the border. Putin is allowing them into Syria. That is why I insulted Putin. He needs to take off the gloves and finish the job he decided to start last september.
